Supernatural. I don't play in the fandom because... yeah. No. It's weird though because this is still one of those shows where if I see someone else has a Supernatural av/icon/quote/whatever, I get all "OMG! You too?!" about it. It's very weird. I'm also still stuck on maybe one episode of... season 5, I think. So to say I'm fabulously behind would be most accurate.
But I will say this: I cannot recommend the earlier seasons of this show enough. I'll be honest here; when it premiered my expectations were exceptionally low. The title alone made me wonder if they just couldn't think of anything for that, why bother with the show? But I had to know whether it was any good or not.
And ohmylord, it was better than I could have dreamed. There's eyecandy if you need that put out there right away. There's the fun "hey, I know you!" to the guest stars of the week, which is always fun for me. Most of all, though, is the sense that you're getting a horror movie every episode. Some are played for laughs until things start dying, and some are straight up creepy. That begins with the pilot itself, which still makes me eye my ceiling suspiciously on occasion. (Yes. I'm serious.) I went looking, briefly, for pictures to share but all the ones that properly illustrated the creepy factor did so in a way I wouldn't really want to have posted here since I'd have to see them over and over and over and sometimes at night. :P
