impyI'm getting shiny-blocked at every turn. *grumbles* Went to Big Lots yesterday w/Cass to see if they had the newer MH dolls. (Specifically Lagoona and Howleen.) They had a display for Barbie/MH but no MH to be found. :( This was after I'd juuuuuust missed them on Amazon.
Fair enough.
Spent hours this morning looking online for cute shoes. I want/need shoes I can basically just throw on and head out the door in and not want to hide my feet because the shoe is fugly/doesn't fit/is too old or worn out. I can't pull off heels and while I have serious boot envy, my calves would never allow that to happen. So we're talking flats, or itty bitty heels. Every time I found a cute pair of shoes, it wasn't in my size (or wide enough) and if I was willing to ignore the lack of width, it was decidedly not in my size. I'm not even 100% sure what my size is anymore because each pair of shoes I get totally throws the previous theory out the window. Bother. But it's (usually) at least an 11 and a wide so... yeah. Cute shoes are a bitch to find.
And if they were cute, and they were in the right size/width, and if the reviews weren't scathing or the video didn't show them looking hideous? They were too expensive.
Sigh. I don't want to spend more on my casual shoes than I did on my work shoes.
I've repeated this shoe dance at least once a month for the last three months. I'm thinking I'm just going to end up waiting again until I feel less cranky. Shoes. Meh.
