Renner!

Sooooooo, how come no one told me Renner was on SNL? I had to find this out on the street! Or, y'know, when someone requested the ep on one of the comms I watch. Whichever. And then I spent the next 12 hours trying to get a link to work. The following two hours were lost to ONTD and Tumblr.

I brought back presents though, so don't feel left out. Gifs for everyone!























  I have never been a big SNL person. I watch when a host I like is on (but since I work most Saturdays, I rarely watch even then) but... mostly I forget it's on. Sorry, SNL. It's just that most of the shows aren't funny.

Sadly, this was another one that was really hit or miss. Let me help you avoid the misses. Find yourself a clip of The Standoff because it's easily the best of the bunch. The Coroner (not pictured) is one that starts out kind of lame, keeps going further into "seriously guys, not funny" and then dead ends into "can't breathe, laughing too hard." Because you don't expect it. The Avengers wasn't as funny as it should have been, but isn't bad. Monologue is worth it if you wanna hear him sing and have there be technical difficulties.


But this promo (Renner!) is better than most of the episode. I share because I care.

It was one of those things where I was going "Should I tell her? She probably already knows if she cares that much. But she might be mad if she misses it. But I don't want to be that weirdo person who always gives you a weird frog figure for every occasion just because you have that one frog pen and sort of liked them at first, but now don't really care"...okay I'm very tired.

And then I saw the episode and it was like "aaah, you didn't miss much anyways." There have been some decent ones this season, but sadly this one was pretty flat. Though I did like Standoff and the morgue weirdness. And I did not know that he could sing! He just seemed really, really nervous about the whole thing and wouldn't take his eyes off the cue cards!

I am very, very good about missing things. Sometimes it's shocking how I managed to miss something and other times well... not so shocking. I mostly ignore SNL because it's not really worth the hassle usually. But fear not, for I am the weirdo who will always love frogs! In this case it's not frogs but it still works.

It's funny considering how often he seems to be exceptionally goofy that when it would come in handy, poof. Not there. Yay for singing surprises!

One day I'll actually get around to having my Renner-a-thon. One day.
