impyAnd with the great Cyber Monday kerfluffle behind me, so begins the time honored tradition of thinking up a wishlist of things I would like and making a list of things I will be getting for other people. The latter will probably not appear on here for obvious reasons. The walls have eyes!
Unless otherwise stated, there is no real order to this. I'll attempt to group things by like items for easy editing later, or so that people's eyes can glaze but only miss one type of thing and not the whole list. Or something.
Monster High:
Anyone I'm missing. That'll be updated as I cave and buy things but as of now, it's perfectly up to date. Lagoonas are always appreciated and pink!Howleen is on my short list of new dolls I can buy if I see her. I want a tiny army of her, man. Tiny army!
MLP:
Toys R Us' NightMare Moon set.
Target's Crystal Princesses set (basically, if Luna, the purple one, is included, assume I want it.)
Target's Crystal Pony set
Mini Applebloom set
AG stuff:
I feel bad asking almost anyone for these, so I'll go with the slightly less "holycrapmuffins, look at the price!" stuff. Any of the PJs for the historicals that I don't own already. (Addy, Josefina, Caroline, Marie Grace, Ruthie, and Rebecca.) I'm worried they'll jack the prices on them come Jan. 1st. If you head over to Etsy and find cute Kirsten outfits that don't scream "WHY. Why would you make this?" and are, y'know, pretty without costing a billion bucks? Kirsten's stuff appeals and usually doesn't cost quite as much as say, Samantha's. (I love you, Sam.) I'd love a knock-off of Molly' Route 66 dress or Emily's original blue/white PJs from the book. (Like Molly's actual PJs only in less eye-searing colors.)
AG Books: I'm missing Kirsten's book 5 (Kirsten Saves the Day! Or, Kirsten vs. Bear, Round 1.) and I'm looking to get the Molly books either from when they first came out (different artwork entirely for the first three books) or when they re-did her artwork but the bookcovers were still old school white/offwhite. Oh, and Molly's Route 66 Adventure.
Books of the Non-AG variety:
Sweet Valley University: Chloe's Diary. I'm 99% sure this is the last SVU book I need to complete my collection.
Cold Days: Jim Butcher. New Dresden!
Blood Crime and Into The Woods both by Kim Harrison.
I'll have to go through and look to see which BSC books I'm still missing, and ditto the SV Twins/Kids (though with the Kids, odds are good I don't have it).
Misc:
I'm thinking I'd like a subscription to Martha Stewart Living if one ever finds a good price on it. No sense in spending a fortune on it.
Same vein: paid Library Thing account or paid Flickr account.
I love Betty & Veronica, be they new, old, or somewhere in between.
Postcards. I love postcards. Holiday cards. I love getting mail but these days I get bills, junk mail, and the occasional catalog is the highlight of my mail getting experience.
I like shiny things. I won't say I love everything but I'm getting to that point where any gift that is obviously given with love, I love. Crap. I'm getting old. :P
Or, if you've the gift of gab, I love a story. I'm the person who, at 2am, is bugging people, tell me a story?.

Date: 2012-11-28 09:53 pm (UTC)And yes to the books. :) They are vastly different from the webisodes (and the diaries that come with the dolls) but I think they're worth a read for the MH-verse. I still need to pick up the 4th book as well as the new series. The second MH book is really good (I think that's Cleo's book) and lacks some of the WTF moments from the first. I'm looking forward to your opinion on the book!
