impyIt's December and you know what that means, right?
No. It means sometime 20+ years ago (egads) Mums and I were in Phar-Mor and they had the first box set of SVH books as well as #20, Crash Landing! So dramatic. So over the top. So.PURPLE! AWESOME.
You might've figured out that I'm a bit a reader and as a kid I was somehow even worse, so Mums was frequently looking for things for me to read. I think she flipped through one of the SVHs, deemed it okay for kidlet eyes, and then listened to me beg and plead for the books. She caved and I spent the rest of the month trying to find ways to steal #20 from her bedroom closet without her noticing so I could find out what the heck happened to poor Enid. (It was to be my Christmas present but I couldn't just not know what happened. That was cruel and unusual punishment for an eight year old, man.)
In honor of this (and the books being re-released in ebook format) and because I have my doubts about the people at the wheel over on the SVC FB account, I have decided to dedicate this month to the wonderful world of SV.
I'm not sure how long it'll last but does that truly matter? No. No it does not.
Today being our first day, I open the floor to you guys. Questions, any and all, shall be answered.
Otherwise I think we'll end up discussing various characters/arcs/and What Ifs.
