impySaturday I made RumChata Cupcakes and they were delicious. I'm a bit miffed that no one else seems to have tried them for ages. Mums did, and I think she was quite taken with them, and C at work tried one (I assume she did something with the other two that were left as well) but there were cupcakes in the house for two and a half days before the boy swiped the last two.
My feelings, they were hurt. On the other hand, that recipe makes a ton of frosting and it lasted longer than the cupcakes and was so, so, so good that I might make more and just put it on graham crackers. ;) The downside is that I hate mixers and it took forever to make by hand.
But so good.
I think I shall make them for Cassy's Scentsy party next month. She's learned that if she wants me to show up to something, you schedule it for one of my days off. Sadly, another friend has not caught on to this in all the time she's been selling something. Which I would understand if she was one of those people who believes Sundays are for worship and family but she's not so... I just never can make her events. And then I feel bad. :P But my days off are pretty constant and have been for years now.
Speaking of feeling bad, my face hurts. Freakin' Spring. I woke up this morning (went to bed almost immediately after getting home) around 10ish and thought someone had slugged me in my sleep. It hurt that much. Went back to bed after finding my one remaining sinus pill from last month and when I finally emerged from my slumber, I still felt weird but not quite as "rar, dead" as before.
To update yesterday's grr-argh, I got an email back and it seems I am the only one who didn't get their books? :/ I went through again today just to make sure I hadn't missed it. Every email since the "good news!" and then I checked my gmail to make sure they hadn't sent it there. Nada. So... we wait.
I'd planned on being a more useful member of society today but then spring happened. Maybe tomorrow.
