I was pretty lacking in reading the last few books and then you BSC bombed me and when I went on my BSC binge, I kind of traded off between books I'd never read and books I could probably recite by heart. I paid special attention to Mal cuz of the snark and...

And god, yes to the better earlier on. Sometimes I forget just how different they were and then I'll re-read an earlier book and think "daaaaaaaaamn." Then I harumph over the oversimplification of the BSC.
I like to end that with waving around one of the canes and telling those darn kids (squirrels) to get off my lawn and back in my day, both ways uphill in the snow just to get a book! Disjointed ramblings make it more fun for the neighbors.
