So this is a thing that happened

impyAbout a week ago someone I work with mentioned that I reminded them of the following:
Ruby from Max and Ruby
and
Zoey from Nurse Jackie
(She's the hugger in pink bunny scrubs.)
This same person has also said I remind them of Dexter:
It's been a week and I still, for the life of me, cannot figure out what kind of person this would make. These aren't exactly the three most similar characters out there.
Most telling of all was that when she mentioned Ruby, my first thought was, "I hope it was the Ruby whose voice I like!"
Cass said she'd be offended. I know the person who said it meant it in a good way so I'm not. I'm just amused and confused at the randomness of it all.
Off to brush my hair and get ready. Found a house to look at on CL. Pray I don't get murdered.
Didn't get murdered. Mums seemed to really like this house. I loved things about it and I might be in love with the neighborhood, so I'm anxiously awaiting the application to arrive in my email box. And also the hope that the other three (!) people he had coming out to look at it don't love it. I would love to be done with the search and I think we could be happy there, so if you've got spare time to devote to sending good thoughts this way, I'd appreciate it.
