Housing part the second

Put in the application for the house. Funny how I was all spazzy and "DO IT NOW" but the moment I hit "send" all I wanted to do was take it back. You know, to fix any errors or what if I missed something or... you know how it is. We'll see how it goes. I hate moving but since I have to anyway, might as well move someplace I think I will like and on my own(ish) terms.

If we do end up at this particular house, also hope they either let me paint or paint before we move in because the only room in the house that looks a little rough is the one I'd get. If not, I'll think of something.

Did you ever read the saga of 3_foot_6's move to Wisconsin? Well...not really a saga I guess. She wrote two absolutely hysterical entries about what became her new house. I highly recommend reading them.

*cackles* That is fabulous. Completely and utterly fabulous. I love her. Why does she not have books for me to house near my BSC books so that when the Uninitiated ask, "uhhhh, why?" I can explain with song and possibly dance, depending on the Widget's availability?

I'm going to have to read that again the next time the house situation threatens my sanity. :D

I think she's working on a book, but the publishing world is incredibly fickle and most publishing companies prefer to spit on the talented writers so they can make a gazillion dollars on crap like Twilight and the 50 Shades series. D:

I know she's gotten a few rejection letters, but she doesn't update her personal journal anymore so I don't know any recent details. We're Facebook friends so I sometimes catch up with her there, but it's not the same. I wish we could convince her to go back to updating. It's such a wonderful comedic fix. :D

I hope the publishing world comes to its senses soon because I am tempted to take pictures of money and finally use my Twitter account for something other than collecting virtual dust. "See this shiny ten dollar bill? It's yours if you put out whatever book 3_by_6 is doing. Oh, wait, is that a $20? My bad. I meant to say I would buy two. Oh, wait, is there a second twenty lurking? Gosh, how embarrassing. I meant four. One for me, one each for my two best friends who obviously need a laugh that might kill them, and one for the nearest library." Which wouldn't work if they were more than say 9.99 each but y'know, it's a gesture. :P

I found her updated pictures of The House and continued to laugh, in the best way.
