.....so.... Tuesday Mums called the house I love to get an application. Then she called back and asked something and pointed out the reason we were moving in case that would be a factor against us to the point that one should not throw $30 down the drain for a background check. He said he didn't think it was, but he had to check with his wife who is out of town for a business trip. This was early in the afternoon, so I waited yesterday. And today.

I'm getting twitchy, guys. I have everything set so all I have to do is hit send but I don't want to be out $30-something if there's no way in hell I'm getting it. It's one thing when it's a possibility of no, but if it would be a straight up "not gonna happen"...

Which means Mums is dragging her feet about the other house (the one she liked more) and I would hate to have one place take down two or more options while we wait, y'know?

I love you, house. I would take care of you like you were my grandparent's. (I figure people trash their own stuff and their parents will forgive them but your grandparents? They would have no problems making you rue the day you spilled something and didn't immediately clean it up.) I can envision holiday decorations, and...

So this is what it's like to fall in love with a house. Or at least very strong like.

I was the same way with my house! We were driving around looking, but it had a "sale pending" sign on it, but we asked about it and got shown and it was perfect!! (at the time anyway :P) so our realtor said if nothing's happened after 30 days it goes back up on the market again, so it was just this waiting game of driving past each day to see if it was sold or back-up or had people moving in! Nerve-wracking! I hope you get yours, too!
