MH update

Updated my MH checklists again (they're here). I still have to add the new characters and I haven't updated some of them either because I'm lazy or... no, that's probably it right there. I won't update Gil til the 5 pack has been spotted, but I think everyone else is due to laziness.

I ordered three more dolls now that the new ones have hit Amazon. None of them were the new ones, though if I'd realized that Heath and Abbey were actually supposed to be that price, I'd probably have pounced and possibly gotten them. As it is, I can wait a little bit. I'm hoping that since Scaris Deuce was more readily available, they'll do the same for Heath? Still, he's on my short list of things I don't have to wait for when I next see him.

Still no word on the house. The only thing keeping me from completely losing hope is that he's actually renovating the house so he's likely busy. Still... :/ Put in an application for the other house. We'll see how it goes, I guess.


Dear Mattel: Hurry the fuck up and do something else with Ever After High. The amount of wank in this blasted fandom is enough to turn everyone off before it even gets off the ground. Give people something else to obsess over before things go completely nuclear, k? Oi. At this point I'm not sure which would kill your liver first: people bitching about fandom making everyone gay (like that's a new thing in any fandom) or yet another post on someone's headcanon wherein... someone is gay. One fuels the other, only at this point I'm not sure which is which.


Of the impending MH onslaught of the season, I'm most looking forward to people's pictures of MF Venus, whether MF Clawdeen has milk fangs, and basically any shot of Lagoona, really.

I am severely underwhelmed by Music Festival. I'll get Abbey because sort-of new? hair. There's a red stripe now! I like Clawdeen's make-up, but have the feeling it's similar to one of the many I already have and I HATE that outfit so, so much. And Venus...doesn't look that different from the others to me and her outfit is dreadfully boring. Is she sans mohawk or is there no real hair change? And 13 wishes! Shiny gold accessories! Not dull yellow! Woo! Waaant theeeem!

Do you think Cass would mind if we aped her Costco membership again? I really like Die-ner Draculaura and might as well get the deluxe edition, right? Or is that one Kohl's this time? Which ones did you order??

Argh, I know. I have a couple extra Deuces now cause I thought for sure he'd be rare again, but nope, so plentiful now! But yes, hopefully that will bear good tidings for the Heath set!

Yeah, it seems like Mattel has released an awful lot while simultaneously not enough. Like it's way more than a press release, but not full-scale enough for anyone to get a sense of wtf is going on? But then I'm only paying half-attention to that series, atm.

You sparked my interest, so I poked around Flickr to see the MF dolls. Other than the placement of the green in her hair, I don't think Venus' hair is any different. But I'm a sucker for the eyeliner still. Oddly, I walked away kind of digging Clawdeen's makeup. I still think they should've gone for gold boots (it would have saved the entire thing for me) but she might not be as pass worthy in person. D: I didn't realize Abbey's shirt had changed from her normal blue-purple to pink!

13 Wishes get a giant "NEED" because Golden Clawdeen needs to be more of a thing.

I'm sure Cass won't mind sharing the Costco goodness, particularly since I think she uses my Netflix more than I do. I'll let her know she can probably start looking out just in case because Die-ner Draculaura's dress is adorable. And might as well get Operetta, too. :D

I'm sure that Deuce will end up still being worth a pretty penny if you hold him long enough. W1 Cleo and Deuce both did more than their fair share of "we can't give these damn things away!" and now? Cha-ching. I don't need a mountain of Heaths. Just one set. Maybe two.

EAH: I kind of thought they'd alternate weeks. One week we continue to play catchup with the rest of the world regarding webisodes, the next EAH drums up a little more interest with something. Apparently not. :/

I finally got around to ordering Skelita (who I then saw like six of at Walmart this morning) and Jinafire (who I'm sure is still shelf sitting at Kmart) because Amazon's price was still better than either one of theirs. I snagged DDG Operetta, too. And this morning while shopping for a gift Widget could give some little girl, I snagged Wonder Wolf. Apparently I left her and PG (who was nowhere to be seen) off the checklist. D'oh.
