(no subject)

Confession time. It's October and aside from the initial rush on the first, I... don't feel much of anything at all. It is most disappointing. :/ I'm not sure if it's simply because I've been working and that kind of sucks all my energy if I'm not careful or what, but my October glee is just not showing up and sticking. It appears for maybe five seconds here and there and then disappears.

Perhaps decorating tomorrow will help?


Along the same lines, I have nearly burst into tears an embarrassing number of times lately. I don't know what's going on (why hello, pms?) but I would like for it to stop. For instance, this morning before I left work, as I was throwing trash out and putting things away, I looked at the note on my section of the store. (I am in charge of keeping the reader and sunglasses pretty, and no, I do not know who I pissed off to get that chore.) I have no idea what my score was, but the note was "have you been doing both sections?"

A) You can check that in the computer, so you're being lazy in your attempt to call me out for being lazy. No.
B) Look at the sections you are questioning. The reader glasses have never looked so awesomely full. Never. EVER. The sunglasses are half empty because half of them are discontinued. Which is clearly marked with hot pink Ds to let any idiot (me) know not to bother scanning them as out because it's just going to complain. But no. You go ahead and call me out for not doing the job no one's actually shown me how to do.

I went from "yay, I'm free!" to pissed beyond belief to actually wanting to cry in record time. And then I said fuck it because she's clearly got her favorites and she did the same thing to the other overnight people soooooooo... not worth it.




If you've got Halloween/Autumn themed things, send them my way. I'll need to kill some time while the toilet gets looked at tomorrow.

Were you still wanting to borrow Clawdeen's Little Dead Riding Hood outfit? Or did you find another route for your entry for the contest/change your mind? I'm trying to figure out the best way to send the BSC books I owe you (I didn't forget! I just don't drive past the post office anymore on a regular basis.) and if I'm supposed to be sending you MH stuff too or not.

I haven't thought of any alternatives for the MH contest, so I think I might not enter after all. I was looking at the prizes again and while I do like Little Dead Riding Hood it would break my no duplicates rule so I don't really have much motivation to enter. Are you going to enter?

I've entered every other year but thus far I'm lacking in ideas. Granted, I also haven't given much thought to it beyond, "It sounds fun" so there is that.
