I'm a lazy lump

Weird. I know I took a picture and sent it to myself of this, but of course I can't find it in my email box. :(

So, my little blue tree is up. I'm going to decorate it tonight. Currently it has one ornament and that's the lovely penguin from irishgypsie! It's so cute! I love it. AND Ozzy hasn't tried to eat it in front of me. (What she does when I'm not home is probably best left a mystery.)

My Christmas list is coming along. I have ideas for Mums but it's a matter of finding her that sofa she'll want. If I can't pull that off before Christmas, I'm thinking coffee maker if the boy hasn't done it yet. Not sure what other people are doing for Widget so I should ask the boy about that, too. I'm not all that sure what he wants because he's stopped hinting like crazy OR talking about the stuff he wanted previously. Originally I thought maybe the new Skylanders game but he hasn't played the older one in ages so...

Just ordered the boy's gift and I have to figure out K's present but she and I have an understanding that not all holiday gifts are given exactly on time so the crunch on that isn't bad. I've ordered part of zallia's gift and it's on its way to her as we speak. irishgypsie and luxken27 both got their gifts, D's gift arrived about a week ago, and that leaves me with Ari's and Cassy's gifts which are both wrapped and awaiting their pickup.

See? Not doing horribly for a year where my Christmas spirit keeps playing peekaboo.


I spent the day in bed aside from watching the Ever After High "special" at noon.

As I was drifting off to sleep last night (like I said, lazy day was yesterday) Widget came in and noticed the tree finally, and asked about its lone decoration. When I told him it was in the package he'd brought in the other day and that you made it, I could actually hear his jaw drop. So you have the Widget's admiration as well!
