More AG stuffers

Next we've got the Reindeer Pajamas which I got for $13. I forget what the original retail was (wiki tells me it was $28, which is why I passed) but I didn't get them until Cyber Monday, I believe. They include slippers, a shirt, pants, and a reindeer antler headband which won't be pictured because I was racing the sun and antlers could be complicated.


I decided Marie Grace could try them out since I think Ruthie was suggested as a model but she got her own outfit.


Plus, I knew it was time for MG to finally get her hair changed. All I did was take the braids out of their loop in the back (the way it was done was such a WTF of why would you do that for kids because they can't recreate that because you had to create your own hairloops just to hold this thing in place!) and smooth things out. Baby steps. I think she looks adorable in them. They go rather well with her blue-ish eyes. :)


I'd say see but the race was busy being lost so you really can't see.

Gonna ruin this whole outfit for you. If you don't want it ruined, LOOK AWAY.

Those are fingerprints making up the reindeer. It's all very cute except it looks like poop was used. So until I find a way to NOT think that, I have to not focus on the whole fingerprint thing.

Overall, I think they're cute but I would never have paid $28 for them. I'm thrilled I got them for $13, though, and I think they look positively adorable on Marie Grace. Everything I tried goes on very easily and is soft. I'm not a huge fan of felt (which the headband is made of, aside from the stretchy bit) but it's only one piece of the outfit and not essential to pajamas. If you can find this for a price you like and you're interested, I'd say it's worth it.

They seriously need to use her face mold on more dolls. Why, WHY didn't they use this mold for Isabelle? She would have looked so much better!

Grrr...you're making me want Marie-Grace and she was never on my list. I thought her character was fairly boring. But damn it her doll is cute.

Her doll is! You hide those pincurls of DOOM and suddenly she's a whole new level of cuteness. Dangerously cute, even.

I wish they'd made Isabelle with her mold, but my wallet is glad they didn't because that would have been one more doll to buy.

URMAHGAWD, Marie-Grace is so cute!! I want her more now, too!! But she's such a wild card!! Wait for a sale that may never happen again now that I specifically want her or pay near full-price just to lament if there is another sale? Or risk full-out retirement and then even higher prices??? Curse you, NOLA weirndess!!

I also really really want #61, to the point where I would even buy her new (hopefully with a free shipping code), but I really don't want to wait another 5 months for her to be released. And it's not looking like we're going to be getting a January sale after all huh? *sulks*

And I also LOVE the spoiler up there. Because that's totall the kind of thing my brain would jump to and then ruin it for others. :D

I neeeeeeeed a second one so that coupled with your desire for a first makes the odds of NOLA going on sale again not likely. But this is the line that defies logic! And it pisses me off to see her for pretty much retail on eBay when you know damn well they paid like, $60 max. If I'm gonna spend retail, I'm gonna get one from the source, dammit. But I want my second to customizize so if they do like, a 62 and she's the MG mold then your odds of getting MG on sale go way up!


I want 61's hair. I was looking at that blog again (because that doesn't sound super sketch, right?) and red hair. WANT. But then I'd have to buy a non!classic mold (why hello, #53, fancy running into you here!) and then find someone to possibly eyeswap and either wigswap myself (which sounds less of a sure thing than Pullips ever were) or have the same mad scientist do her hair and her eyes. Most expensive doll EVER. And then find some sucker to buy the classic mold.

That's my fears, too. Now that we're counting on it, it will never ever happen again. I was worried about their tiny collection, but then I saw Kaya's and...yipes. Poor girl's got jackshit for her. That frustrates me on ebay, too! I want to yell at the people bidding them up "Why didn't YOU buy on the specials, so at least derps like me who missed out can get them for a similar price on ebay?! or if you're going to go that high, just buy them from the site. :p" But I actually don't see too many of her used on there either, so I don't know...

I was thinking that too, but there's so few MyAGs of the non-classic mold! And when I see ones to rewig on ebay and factor in another 10-15 for the wig....yeah, then it just seems like more cost than it's worth.

True, I keep forgetting how small Kaya's collection is. They pad it out with the animals but you take them away and it's like she and Ivy are competing to see who has the smallest collection, and then the NOLA girls slink over and quietly point out that they too are unloved and now I want them all and we'll throw parties and mygod, I'm Samantha.


I just don't get the people who overbid on things they should know were initially purchased for super cheap. Solidarity, people. If we all agree that we won't go over __ and we DON'T, then they won't all go for $120 and we can all have nice things! But nooooooo. People gotta break free and have that doll for a dollar under retail, but pay out the arse for shipping or something.

I'm just as cheesed off at the dolls from the MCM sale that are going for $115 before shipping. Bitches, please. I know full well they cost you a fraction of that and you can't hide that because you have to disclose the x and no. NO.


Well, one could buy a Julie or a Rebecca to swap wigs on. Or MG. MG's wig on a classic with the pincurls wouldn't be all that awesome but one of the other two might. "Like everything about Julie except for her face mold? Congrats, have a classic!Julie!"
