impyI feel better now that I've vented, so let's move on o other things.
Ari- I haven't seen her since last weekend's debacle (her grandmother is back), but I'm told she can sit up now and has been sitting in one of the chairs in her room, so that's progress of the encouraging sort. She's still not firing on all cylinders yet, but I think anyone who honestly expects it (not hopes, but expects) is crazy.
Toy wise: I've been working on revamping my MH checklists and giving each character their own little sheet. I've wussed out and not finished because it's time consuming and I've had other worries.
I've also decided that, knock on wood, if work gets off it's duff and obeys the law and gives me my W-2 form ASAP, I'll fill out my taxes as quickly as I can and still be accurate and then, if I get any fun money back (which I should), I'll be going on a mini AG binge as soon as their usual free shipping appears. I'm trying to decide whether I'll be buying a doll or not. I'm torn because I have been eying Rebecca like crazy for awhile, but I'd also really like #26 (I have a name and everything!) and Kaya's been singing for ages. Decisions, decisions.
This blog is not helping the Rebecca love. If AG would make a doll like this, I could just buy her and adore her. (For those who look and aren't versed in the AG land enough to spot the customizations and don't read the info given about her: Rebecca with brown eyes and Marisol's wig, plus freckles.)
Of course, I don't need another doll but... I wants one, and since my 'fun' money is being diverted to the car, I need something shiny to focus on in the future because cars don't do anything for me.
Also worth noting, Harris Teeter makes a fantastic Cajun Crap Dip. It also happens to be buy one get one free and I might be going daily for it. *cough* It's so yummy though!
Um... *thinks* Oh, and I managed to clean the windowsils in my room and also cleaned the catbox, her water dish, and the floor. Now I think I'm gonna nap again while the laundry does what it needs to do. (I also folded laundry and put it away.)
