Good news, bad news, car edition:

Good news! I think Mums found a car!
Bad news! Despite dragging my credit down the shitter for a credit inquiry, I'm nowhere on any of the paperwork! So the only thing bright spot in this, being able to tell the boy, "hands off my damn car" is now flushed down the shitter along with my credit score!


Here's hoping this looks less annoying when I've had something to eat.

Why did they run a credit check on you if you're not the one who's financing the loan? o.O

I don't knows w if you've got a dealer with numerous dealerships all next to one another, but we do. The car was at the Honda place but they were dealing with the Dodge place originally because Cass recommended a guy there. That guy wasn't in so they got Jon.

Jon ran our credit Thursday at 1pm and by 4ish still hadn't heard anything. Mom called and got financing elsewhere and Jon still hadn't done a damn thing so... Mom walked down to the Honda place and had better luck, only during the walk or her financing elsewhere I got dropped. Apparently a foreclosure is better than newer credit? I... dunno. I'm pissed that my credit did exactly what I feared but there's no gain for me on this, which at least car payments would rebuild the hit.

Yay car. Boo everything else?
