Oddly enough, there is something very satisfying about paying my credit card bills. Not so much the cable or the utilities (though sometimes those have the same satisfaction) but you can't win them all.

Yup, I totally agree. It feels good to be able to pay the bill on time, and I love seeing the balance due go down each month. Progress! Right now I'm watching my two credit union loans (one was my car refinance and one was a debt consolidation loan) and both will be paid off in January. So in less than a year a sizeable chunk of my debt will be gone! That's exciting to me, because it means we'll finally be able to afford to move out into our own place because I'll have more money available for higher rent.

I still have a couple of credit cards with high balances, but they will get paid off eventually. :)
