Dude, I managed to burn my chin. It hurts, hurts, HURTS. Pizza should come with a warning. "Tomato sauce may slide down your face and make you want to cry like a baby." Something.

The nephew came over again today. Ran right up the stairs and into my arms. Very cute moment. He then made motions to be plunked down in the chair so he could play on the computer. Dude's two years old, man. o_O

No more dudes. Yes. I will refrain. I'll try anyway.

Any book recomendations? I'm in need of some more since I ran out of Alice Hoffmans [that the library had without me requesting them] and I caught up on the stuff Jake told me to read that I remembered. [I have a mini list around here somewhere, but trust me when I say I do not believe in organized chaos. It's all chaos to me.]

Rewatched some Tru Calling with Mom since she missed it the first go round. I don't think it's the sort of show I can rewatch over and over unless I concentrate on the little things. Like Davis. ;)

Then got a call from Cass who was whinging about how her boyfriend wants to go to a rave this weekend and I tuned out. I know, that makes me an awful friend, but she blew me off for a little less than a week, didn't bother to ask how I am, and then proceeded to complain about a guy I wouldn't mind if he fell off the planet. *shrug*

Why is it always a freakin' blonde wig? Ick.

...Good lord. Chosing to wade into the Evanescence thread over on CtP just might be the death of me.

*dies*

--or, more accurately, "Another Excuse to Get Alyssa Into a Skimpy Outfit."

Tell me THAT wasn't funny.

And, ooh, oooh! I don't know authors, but books recomendations: "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Wicked." "Wicked" is about the life of the Wicked Witch of the West. (Y), right? RIGHT!

In my experience, Evanescence fans (well, the crazy ones) scratch. It ain't pretty.

Aaah, cute kid moments. So sweet, and then they give you a clue as to how they're gonna turn out when they're older. Means you don't know what to think ;)

SEE? This is why I eat White Pizza! DAMN TOMATO SAUCE! Last time I had sauce pizza regularly? There was so much sauce that when I picked up the pizza, the cheese slid right off the pizza (and I wasn't even holding it by the crust! One hand on the crust, the other on the bottom - the thing slid off the SIDE for crying out loud!) Anyway, cheese slid off the side of the pizza and holy moly, was it HOT and it landed on my lap.

Ten points if you guess where. *shudders from memory*

GRR! Why is it that half the time I go to make a new comment and I end up replying to someone else's? EVIL.

I recommend "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown. Think you'd like it, yes. There's mystery and suspense and good writing and, hey, even questioning of religion. If you read it already, then, hm. How about "The Pleasure of My Company"? Steve Martin is a surprisingly good writer. Amusing book of someone who's ... problemed. :p

I saw "The DaVinci Code" in the bookstore while I was reading random things. Didn't pick it up, though.

...That is all.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

Yes, I am whoring out the Gaiman. I can't help it. I'm his bitch now and he doesn't even know it.

I just finished "The Kin of Ata Are Waiting For You" by Dorothy Bryant. It's a short book that took only an evening to read, but I'd recommend it. Interesting take on things, that's for sure.
