Yesterday it felt, ever so briefly, like fall was on the way. Of course I couldn't really embrace it, what with the giant spider that has taken up residence on my balcony, but I did have Widget watch my back while I ran out there and threw leaves overboard.
This thing is huge, man. But every time i go to photograph it, it's apparently off gallivanting around. Whyyyyyyyyy... And yes, yes I am afraid that if I grab the outside broom and attack its pretty, pretty web, it'll descend from above and attack me for destroying its home.

Don't judge me. Spiders!


Work was eventful last night. Sort of. Co-worker came in, looked ghastly, stayed in the office the first 45 minutes or so, then came out and went to wait in her car for a friend to pick her up and take her to the ER. Only she didn't tell this last bit to the boss, who came by like, fifteen minutes later and asked where coworker was.

To kill time because I was dreadfully bored and they never brought us new magazines last week, I wandered over into Cos where I found the new summer LE Wet n Wild displays. Well, some of them. I snatched one of each little chubby pencil up (I might've cackled as I did so) because their permanent ones are pretty friggin awesome (take note, L'Oreal. Theirs don't smell like plastic toys from the 80's, which means that even if yours go on better and have better color payoff, I'm not still swiping at my mouth two days later going, "UGH. NEVER AGAIN.") and two of the polishes.

THEN I noticed the Wet N Wild #MoreKisses display. And the new Maybelline Fashion Rocks display was up without the makeup items. And in the back we had a WnW display for the matte stuff, only it was just lipstick. D: I want those polishes like yesterday, dammit.

Oh, and there was the new Sally Hansen display but like a lot of people, I can't really get behind 7.99 a bottle. Nope.

Also, every bill in creation is crawling out of the woodwork trying to get my money now so...

Sigh.

You can't have my money, things! I gots stuffs to buy when BeForever launches! I'm 99.99999999999% sure I'm snagging Sam's new holiday dress unless they bundle it with some accessories and call it $68 or something.

There's an eco-bug spray I've been using that's been pretty effective so long as it's a direct hit. I got some at Target and the grocery store around here. It's just rosemary or mint oil so safe for pets and us!

And freaking free shipping off $50 for the weekend only?? Argh!! AG, you suuuuuuuck! Now is not a good time!

No lie, if I worked someplace that sold cosmetics, I would end up handing over half my paycheck back to the store because nailpolish. And if they sold toys? I'd end up owing them money.

When does BeForever launch? I know Sam is coming back and the existing historicals are getting a makeover...do you know if new clothes are coming out and if the new meet outfits will be available separately? My Ruthie would really like Kit's new meet dress.

Speaking of Kit, I was looking through her collection and was astounded at all the pink. I'm pretty sure you've talked about this before. Even though Ruthie is supposed to love pink, I just can't get any of that stuff for her. Well, I like the pink dress from the candy making set but I don't need or want the candy stuff. I just want the dress. Why does AG have to always make things so difficult?

Hrmm. I'll have to keep an eye out for this bug spray when I next go to Target then. Of course then I'll have to try and find him when I have backup. Y'know, for when I run screaming.

Which is why I'm super lucky they only sell a few toys or I'd be doooooooomed.

Yup, yup! Assuming your Walgreens Cos people aren't as slack as ours, they might even be out on the floor now. :D If not, they're definitely being delivered to stores and should be out ASAP.

BeForever launches at midnight central time on August 28th. Knowing AG, it'll probably be filled with initial hiccups as they transition over, but that's the day. We're getting really close!

While we don't know 100% anything beyond Sam coming back, other outfits have appeared on ebay and are featured either on the book covers or in the BeForever videos AG has been putting up on Youtube. Outfits have been found for Kit, Julie, and maybe Caroline. Sam has a black/red/white dress that looks pretty holiday-ish in one of the videos as well. Annnnnnd AG has said via Facebook that they'll have the Meet outfits (the new ones) available for purchase seperately, though we're not sure if that's when BF launches or after a bit or what.

And apparently these things are getting the axe come 8/28.

For the character who dislikes pink, AG sure as hell went out of their way to give her a crapton of pink after her movie. Which is just silly because Kit looks so fabulous in blue.

I think AG delights in making things difficult. Somewhere someone clearly gets paid extra to complicate things.

Woo! Thanks for the heads up on the stuff getting axed! That changed my priority list. I just snagged Addy's Christmas dress for Cecile, the brocade holiday dress for Josefina, and Kit's hair accessories for Ruthie. If the meet outfits will be available I fully intend to get Kit's dress for Ruthie, plus I only needed a small item to bump me over the limit for free shipping. I'm glad the brocade dress was on sale! I'd been wanting it for awhile but didn't want to pay full price. And Cecile is going to look gorgeous in Addy's dress. I'm really surprised AG is yanking that one - they've offered it for a really long time and it's so pretty!
