impyGot my flu shot today. It went fine (unlike the time my arm decided to spit the flu shot back out) but now my arm is rather tender. Ohnoes! I shall be unable to lift anything heavy, whatever shall I do?
Well, my original plan of loafing around and watching bad television (or good television) isn't currently panning out because I woke up with an awful headache. We're waiting to see if caffeine kicks it to the curb.
Someone was busy in Cos last night as this display went up. Not the place I'm betting it's supposed to have gone (where the Maybelline Fashion Rocks display that has sold absolutely two items and I bought one of those) but still. Unfortunately I didn't remember to bring my phone last night, so I had to rely on memory and LE stickers to snag pretty shinies. I missed a couple of the Megaslicks but I'm not sure they were even on the display to begin with so... I put back a couple of the things I wanted because I'd hit $20 and then found a Revlon display filled with polishes (and that Luxe Eyeshadow thing) I wanted something fierce. Revlon, even at B1G150% is still not a cheap expense. I decided against the eyeshadow because I almost never wear any and when I do, I've been sticking to that nude/gold palette I picked up awhile ago. My glasses are pretty sassy enough so, yeah.

My arm is still a little sore but it's fading. Yesterday Widget and I tried out the pool over here. It's nice in that it's a pool and I think it's open an hour earlier than the other pool, though I wish I could remember where I saw the seasonal closing for it. It would make planning easier.
I've unpacked some more boxes, which is good as I was only really gunning for unpacking my MLP box. Did that and about six more! I can get to one of my bookcases now. :D Without having to move a pile of boxes, that is. I think I've come up with a solution for the other, but that will require money so I shall wait. Until then, I'll be pricing stuff. Oh, and I have unearthed a third of my hope chest. Wooooo.

Made the mistake of getting one of the Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks - mistake because I LOVE IT and want ALL THE COLORS!!!! :D

*checks the Holiday stuff* Ah, yes. I think I'm maybe interested in one of the polishes and I'm good on everything else. Tis a shame, the shadows are pretty to look at but I gather from all the reviews they'd suck.
*eyeballs the lipstick* Hrmm. I've been curious about those but L'Oreal and I never manage to sync up at the same time, money/sale wise. Which is a shame because I've been eying one of the polishes something fierce. Maybe next time I'll snag a polish and one of those. Which color did you snag?

Date: 2014-09-18 02:04 am (UTC)My L'Oreal lippie is 303 Rouge Allegro. It's sort of a my lips but better shade, a very nice dark blue-based pink. The L'Oreal colors aren't exactly true to the packaging, but so far I've had good luck in my blind guess choices :P
