Did they ever take her trach out? Scar tissue is a nasty thing, but I wouldn't be *too* worried about replacing the trach. It's more of a procedure than an operation. If they *did* decannulate her, the trach may just be an airway precaution for the seizure.
And yeah, seizures are pretty common after TBI. I'd be shocked if she wasn't on some sort of anti-epileptic medication (like Keppra) just as a precaution. For sure, now that she's had one, she'll be on it to prevent another one.
