Distractions

impyNot dead. Just in a bit of a funk. And also sleepy and trying to avoid getting sick, so I have been actually trying to get those zzz's.
Anyway, instead of the muffled ranting I've been doing into my pillow to keep from calling people out on their jerk-off ways, have some pictures of Grace and Kaya. :D
Someone asked for pictures of BF Kaya and I seem to be one of the only people who admits to having her so... I had to oblige. And I figured it was time to take a picture other than the ones I'd already shared a few times. Sooooooo... I ran upstairs and tried before the light completely died. Kaya's wearing part of the Sporty Winter... thing. The red vest makes her look like she has no neck so I took it off.
Reactions were mild (enh, I shouldn't expect more) but one person was exceptionally special. "Thanks for sharing. I do not like BF Kaya, her hair looks thin and like she's balding."
Ummmm... thanks? I mean, I don't get how you get bald from my picture and I hope the hallway of LEGOs I'm cursing you to is met with bare feet.
Kaya might be telling me to curse this person more. She also might not. Who can say?
This is Grace in part of the Sparkly Camp Outfit. The outfit comes with 4 pieces and a charm (which they're doing away with come May. Just so you know). One shirt, one pair of shorts, one pair of ugly fringe boots, and a belt. I left the belt off and the shoes are probably going to make it on someone's feet exactly once for pictures and a better review and then nope.
Anyway, I chose this outfit because a) I dawdled too long and Izzy's metallic dress sold out again on the sale page and b) because I thought this was just too 80's cute to say no to and I wasn't sure if it would go on sale and then return to it's place in the lineup or disappear ~forever~.
Anyway, Grace offered to try it on. I'm not sure how many favors it's doing her, but my initial impression of the outfit is that I like it for the $19 price. The shirt is actually sparkly aside from the sequins (who knew?) as in it has metallic threads woven throughout. It's rare to have something be sparklier in person than photos, but I promise you that your magpie sensibilities will not be disappointed.
The one-shoulder bit is a lie as you only get the one shirt, but it's cute and I'd imagine that one could easily mix and match this if you had enough of a modern selection at your disposal.
The real standout, actually, are the shorts. They're plain blue with a few embellishments. The rolled up bits for one (and the purple elastic on the sides), and there are two little camp badges on the left hand pocket.
But the pockets are functional pockets! And the blue is lovely. The puff sleeved shirt Grace was wearing before went really well with them. They slide up and over Grace's dolly butt with no problem but there is a velcro fly, so you don't need to worry about that.
Hell. I'd say buy the outfit for the shorts alone if you didn't have to throw shipping in. :P (AG is woefully lacking in plain or plain-ish shorts.)

Grace is rockin' that purple swag, dude,and I kinda like that her shorts are the same blue as her eyes, at least in these pic. Primo style!!
