After a week of eying the new Covergirl display wherein Katy Perry basically dares me to buy their new giant mascara, I finally caved and used my points to buy:

2 bags of White Cheddar Indiana Popcorn (yum)
1 1.5 liter of Pepsi (I'm an addict who has managed to cut down)
1 Giant Bottle of Ibuprofen

And then the fun stuff. :D
1 Real Techniques Beauty Sponge thingie (it was marked down and why not)
1 Jordana Cat Eye Eyeliner in Black Leather
1 Jordana Cat Eye Eyeliner in Future
1 Ink It! Eyeliner in Violet Ink
1 Lip Lava in... whatever the gold one is
1 The Super Sizer Mascara in Brownish-Black
3 Colorlicious Jumbo Gloss Balm Creams (Caramel Cream, Strawberry Frappe, and Berries 'N Cream)

And my grand total was $3.56, I believe. Maybe 3.76? I dunno, it was under four bucks, I know that much. That's like buying the popcorn (with my discount) and getting everything else free. :D

I swear, those glosses were taunting me for more than a week. I apparently have a lip crayon addiction and it's a good thing I don't go anywhere near more expensive stores or even Ulta or Sephora because I suspect I would be screwed. Royally.

Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with the idea of these things. We'll see if they actually work out, but I have hope. If not, well, the first three things on the list will be fine.

I'm thinking I need something to put on the vanity counter by the sink (which is not the same room as the bathroom, just next door) to hold my crayons of doooooooooooom. Also, I need to clean that counter off. It's not so slowly being completely covered by stuff.

Comcast is being rude so I'm giving up and going to bed.

I have two of these holding my various lip products. Uh, you are not the only one with a problem, LOL. I am able to resist higher-priced products, tho, because the drugstore has such a great variety.

So I am curious about these, too. Please do let us know your thoughts!

I'm curous about the Jordana liners. My eyelids are so hooded though that I don't think eyeliner would even be worth it :-/

Ooh, cute! Like an upgraded version of the caboodle one I had awhile ago.

I sorta tried out the mascara and one of the lip creams. The short version on the mascara is that it held up really well to the sleep test and lasted through a night at work on top of that without serious flaking.

The lip cream (the caramel one) was kinda disappointing. I liked the color but the smell was off-putting. In the name of science I shall move on to the others because it's not as bad as Revlon stuff used to be (still is? I dunno, I don't use their actual lipsticks anymore and the crayons didn't have the smell) and it's not like mangoes or peaches which would earn it an immediate return or gifting to Mums. Just chemically.

I have to work my way up to eyeliner tomorrow, I think. My luck with them is pretty spotty unless it's my Rimmel kohl liner. It's either perfection or I look like a raccoon. I have no in-between because I lack the skills and because I lack the skills, I lack the desire to work on those skills. It's a vicious cycle, really.

I just bought that Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Cherries in the Snow and didn't detect any sort of foul odor, so maybe they are better than they used to be. I've heard Milani stuff also has a strong scent, hence my hesitation to try them but hey I can't resist a sale, LOL.

Sorry to hear the Cover Girl lip products might be a bust :( At least you know what you're getting with that Lip Lava, LOL!!

Totally get it - I've only tried eyeliner once and it was a horrible mistake, so I just go without. Hooded lids allow for such things (tho I despair never being able to wear a cat eye :( )
