I'll admit that I didn't have huge hopes for Prime Day, but I had sort of hoped for more than this. So far the most interesting thing to my interests was the brief appearance of Getting Ghostly Spectra and naturally I missed that. :(

On the plus side, my credit score went up so that's good. I should probably concentrate more on getting that higher rather than buying shiny things. Still, sometimes you want the shiny.

I probably owe an overview of my week off, but we'll just go with it was very nice as our general statement for now. It had moments I wasn't fond of (my birthday ended with me having done something to my index finger and when attempting to get into the first aid kit to treat it, I closed the kit on my pinkie on the same hand, so I was basically useless) but it also reminded me that I love twilight in the summer. Widget and I swam a bit then and some in the morning and I probably didn't do as much swimming as I would have liked, but I did enough to be happy.
My doll hunts were pretty hit or miss (mostly miss) but I got to do them and sometimes that is actually enough. I seem to have turned from glow in the dark ghostly pale to one shade darker which might just be ghostly pale. Not sure how that happened based on the amount of sunscreen used but there you go.

I went Halloween hunting at the Michaels and found some stuff. :D It's coming, it's coming!

And on my last day of vacation, a storm finally rolled in and I got to watch the lightning jump from cloud to cloud. It was really impressive.

Holy shit, why is she so high?? I forgot she even existed. Daaamn. Apparently though, you can get her off amazon.uk for $27 shipped if you're needing her. Hell, just buy a few and pop 'em up on our Amazon for $50 and make a bit on the side. >_>

She and Rochelle both seem to have hit during whatever strike was afflicting things towards the end of the winter, and Mattel decided eff this and just shipped them off to like, New Zealand or some BS and every so often they appear in the US only to scamper off and mock people. I think I managed to snag one when she briefly reappeared last night but she hasn't shipped so I don't know for sure.

Sometimes we just need the vacation to get away from life. Sounds like you accomplished that, so go you =) I'm already looking forward to my 11 days off! It did me such a world of good last year.

The storms that rolled through yesterday were really impressive. I love summer thunderstorms myself, as long as they don't bring tornadoes along for the ride :P

I didn't mind going back the first night, so I figure that's probably a sign of a successful de-stressing. Day two, however... ;)

Last year I took off the week before Labor Day, plus the Friday before that, so I only ended up taking off like 6 days to get nearly 2 weeks of vacation. I am tentatively planning to do the same this year =)

Smart move. Don't use up all the vacation all at once but also get the most bang for your buck.
