Maryellen, the continuing saga

impyLet me get this straight: I go on vacation and nothing happens. I go back to work and we get Prime Day (meh) and then Maryellen and some of the 30th Anniversary stuff leaks?
Okay, just wanted to see if I got that right.

Maryellen has been spotted on Taobao.
Classic mold, strawberry blond hair that looks a bit pinker/redder than their normal strawberry blonde, but is still most decidedly not 61's hair color. Eye color is unsure. Could be the 'new' green of 61, could be hazel (booooooooooooo), could be a new color entirely.
I knew I was going to like her but I really, really like her. If she weren't classic mold, I'd be plotting to buy her Day 1. As it is, I really don't want another classic mold but she's cute and I could go around in circles on this for days. I do wish her dress had a fluffier skirt like the illustration. Maybe it'll look better not in box.
Julie's box says 2016 Special Edition Mini Doll so the thought is that we're getting LE minis. Again. Woo. I do like the dresses on these, and I actually kind of like Julie even though I hate that outfit in full size. Behold ME looking like a perky little chipmunk. Dying that Addy has Rebecca's book while Becky has Me's book.
