Notes on candles

Okay, this needs to be recorded somewhere so I'll remember later. This candle right here smells delicious. Mums thought I was baking when she smelled it and it does scent the downstairs and manages to creep up the stairs as well. So, so good. But there's no pumpkin in it, at all.

I want so badly to buy another but I'm telling myself to wait for the Halloween stuff to hit and then take advantage of a sale.
I'm not sure, but I might have figured out my problem with my Leaves candle. The ones in the store don't have their lids on and someone else mentioned that B&BW candles lose their scent without lids (which is why they were ticked when B&BW would forgo lids on some of their lines)... so maybe I liked the scent but only when it wasn't cranked up to 11. I left the lid off my first one and after the first day of kind of avoiding my vanity area, it went from being entirely too strong to just right. Still not sure I'll keep the second candle and not just gift it to someone, but at least I feel better that I didn't just waste my money. And it's still strong when lit, but without that immediate "oh, God, what did I just do?" when you first light it.
