Day one of semi-vacay

Ahhh, the first day of mini vacation. Stopped at Target where I eventually found the DC Superhero Girls endcap. I don't know why it was stationed in the toddler toy section though? I wandered throughout the aisles I thought they'd be in (MH/Barbie, Princesses, Lesser Dolls) and about the time I gave up, I caught a glimpse of a Harley cutout. Woo! I'm not sure if they've been re-stocking or just no one's found it in the last couple of days, but only one Batgirl was missing. I debated grabbing all four I was missing, but ultimately decided to take pity on my wallet and grab just Ivy and Harley. For now.


Had Sonic for breakfast because it's sorta my dinner and also breakfast food is usually inferior. (Sorry, breakfast lovers.) Walked the dog, started my cleaning with the cat box and her water dish, and then debated doing nothing. I finally decided I wanted to actually use my sheets I bought right before I got sick, so into the washer they went. Now I have to wash everything else. :P I did not think this through properly. Sigh.


Which means I've been trying to do a little cleaning here and there, starting with the embarrassing sea of plastic bottles. In my defense, I was freakin' sick and Widget kept jetting off to his mother's for the weekend. But really, I figured I'd do it today. Since they're now gone, I figure I did okay.


Unfortunately, now everything is covered in pollen outside. D: Dammit, Spring, I wanted Winter.

So instead I guess I'll be watching Swans Crossing on Hulu. I never even heard about it when it was airing (maybe it didn't air here?) but it's short enough to watch bits and pieces while I do laundry.

My plan is to catch up on my shows this week. Also, um, clean. Sigh. Adulting is very difficult. (Says the person who began things with a toy report.)

I love Swans Crossing! I used to have all the figures, but sold my two rares to someone on Flickr that turned out to be a douchecanoe. Stupid me. Oh, well. I still have my Slumber Party Callie and her awesome face out on display.

I think you're actually how I found out that SC was a thing! If it wasn't through you and your figures, it was probably through the Sweet Valley world. But I'm betting it was you.

I'm only a few episodes in (curse you, Hulu commercials!) but I have no idea how I missed this when it first aired. All I can think is that it aired before I got home.
