Monster High Chatter #6, Robecca

Since we've done Rochelle and Venus, clearly it's time to do Robecca and round out that trio. This is both a little easier and a little harder because there are less Robeccas than the other two. But I really like the ones we've gotten so... yeah. I'm definitely the person who, if they had a gazillion dollars and the space, would probably buy ALL THE THINGS. As it is, I've come embarrassingly close. Sigh.


Favorites:

Sig. Hands down. She's gorgeous. I don't know why she's one of the only sigs I never got a double of because she's just amazing. I remember when I got my hands on her, I was SO excited to see what else they'd do for Robecca and I just couldn't wait. Guys, they haven't done shit with Robecca and I'm very, very sad.
Gore-geous Accessories: Now this is a cute, tiny little line. And Robecca is stupidly pretty this go round. I love the gold lipstick, the fluffy curls, and even the simple outfit. And it is simple, don't think I don't realize it. She's just so pretty! ♥
Dead Tired. Look. I warned you. This is probably my favorite line overall and as such there's a disproportionate number of favorites within it. I'm sorry, that's just how it is. I dig the straight hair as a one-off kind of deal, I like the makeup, and her pajamas are cute.

Honorable Mention:

Dance Class. I'm pretty sure that if I look back, I'll find when DC leaked and I thought Bex looked an awful lot like Clawdeen in the promos. Pretty sure that was this line. In any case, she gets points for shaking up her look and having one of the better DC outfits. Good job, love.

Meh:

Meh seems too strong for these, but we'll go with it because I've yet to grab either and I had the chance more than once.
Art Class. She's pretty and is listed first because I'd probably cave on her first, given the option. I just, it seems, didn't really care for the Art Class line as a whole. Whoops. So, you're cute, Bex, I just... like others more?
Coffin Bean. I'd like this look more if her hair were in the fluffy curls. Something about the eyemakeup weirds me out with this particular hairstyle. I like her little mason jar mug and I remember deciding between her and Venus at work. Clearly I went with Venus and Bex sold the next day, never to be seen again.


The One That Got Away:

Ghouls Alive. If I hadn't seen a few people with her, I'd assume this was one that never actually got made. Hell, I'm still willing to assume that since I've seen SO few of her anywhere. :/ Why, Mattel, why? Did I hallucinate the whole part where people had her?

Overall, I wish they'd do more with Robecca in all her incarnations. She has such beautiful dolls and she's such a sweet character, and ALL her Dad mentions make me tear up like a little kid. Every. Single. Time.

I like all the Robeccas, though Dance Class and Art Class have gotten new homes. I just can't keep everyone anymore.

I'm hoping that FCA dress from Taobao means we're getting IHF Robecca soon.
