Man, there is a reason why step one on almost any 'dealing with depression' cheat sheet floating around the internet tells you to shower. I feel like, 50% less of a lazy ass. Of course, eating something probably helped, too.

Moving along! We have sort of news in the land of AG. I apologize for not mentioning their sale last week where you'd get free shipping on purchases over $100, but this time of year has basically turned into the land of people have no money so it didn't seem like the time to tempt anyone.
However... here's a little trick. Go to the AG site and look at the Truly Me dolls. How much are they showing up for you? $115 or $98? There seems to be no discernible rhyme or reason as to which areas get which price, as people can get entirely different prices based on whether they use their cellphone or computer or tablet or drive around the corner and try there. So it's worth a look, if you're in the market for a TM doll. It's also worth keeping an eye on since some of the stores are honoring this price, too. The last time AG test marketed a price change like this, the Bitty Baby prices came down.

Summer Hoodie Set for Dolls is the new PWP online. I think it's really cute and if I weren't trying to be good/pretty sure my brother is gonna need to be bailed out of financial trouble, I'd probably have bought this when I first saw it the other day.

The Wellie Wisher books have popped up in the bookseller portion of the site. You can preview some of the pages and I'm actually really liking the artwork. I'm cautiously optimistically interested in the dolls. I want to know more, dang it.

New Josefina Outfit spotted on Lissie & Lilly. FINALLY. Josefina's getting something. The question is when and what'll it actually look like all finished, since this is a grey market find. While you're visiting L&L, you can see a new coat, new pajamas, and a new ballet outfit.
Mini Melody Doll. Wow. I knew the Sonali mold looked weird in mini form, but uh... *cough* Look. I love my mini zombie Cecile. I just didn't realize the weirdness would translate to all the minis. I thought it was just the eye color throwing things off. Guess not... I do, oddly enough, like the outfit for the mini. Huh. That hair, though.

If memory serves, we should be due for a June release of some sort, especially since mini Melody has a June release date. We'll see what happens.

Belated birthday love to the great and powerful zallia ! I hope it was so awesome that you won't be able to fully speak of it for years. Y'know, to avoid legal trouble. ;)


Now. I've paid my various bills and checked dates and amounts for the future stuff. Gonna make Mums a list for if/when she heads out and I think I'll get some sleep. I can't believe the Monster High minis are out already. Now I have to start hunting them down. Oi.

Yup, it's their business site. Good for taunting you with new information, bad for... well, taunting you with new books. I'm confused about their release date because apparently they're doing in store promotions about/for the Wellie Wishers and I've heard both June and September thrown about as release dates for them. C'mon, AG. Gimme something to tide me over for the summer.

Thanks!! *hugs* It was certainly...an Amanda kind of birthday. Naomi was in town and the sushi place ran a special on their new ramen I'd been wanting to try. To everyone it sounded like $5 for an unlimited bowl, turns out it was for each, but it didn't matter much anyway because they were woefully unprepared and all of it ended up taking forever. But at least we were talking and sharing stories (Tomas, Daniel and Robert were there, too) so I think everyone kept pretty distracted. Still haven't gotten paid back for the ones I covered that night, either. Blarg.

Then...at 10:30pm right before I'm heading to bed, my phone rings and it's Robert in tears asking if he can stay the night. He got into it with Paul, police involvement, he lets me in that it's been even worse than he lets on, though I had kind of guessed. But yeah, full on abusive relationship. So I think this is going to be the time, but nope, next day he's right back there with him again. Just battered wife syndrome all over, so that's been a cloud cast over the last few days, well a new black cloud anyway.

Wow. Your birthdays are always way more eventful than mine. Not that this is always a good thing, especially on the Robert front, but wow. :/ I hope he manages to find a way out of the relationship, safely and soon.

And boo for birthday girl having to cover people's food! Boo! Triple boo for the restaurant having a badly written special. But I'm glad there was good chattering to keep you all from dying of hunger.
