Other things in the AG world:

Rumors have all but confirmed that the mix and match stuff is being yanked for the Dec. 26th release, so it looks like I'm gonna miss the kitten sweater unless it goes on sale later. Sorry, Mal! But I got most of the other things I wanted from that line thanks to the lovely luxken27 sharing her code earlier this fall.

Rumors also have Gabi's collection as being freakishly small. Like... we've seen it all small. Sure, sure, she'll get something later in the year but she's coming out the gate with the smallest GOTY collection we've seen in years. I hope this one isn't true because if it is, fuck you, AG. We've already seen more things for Tenney and that's just so wrong that I don't have the words for it. Well, I do, but they're basically "burn this mofo to the ground" kinds of words. I don't need a huge item like Lea's Hut or Grace's bakery, but to not have anything beyond: meet accessories, possible hair clip thing (I don't know, it's a particularly unclear rumor), her PJs, that tap outfit, and her cat? That's messed up. That's two outfit possibilities, a pet, and one accessory set. I can't even remember the last GOTY to have so little right up front. Literally cannot remember a collection so small.

AG giveth and AG taketh away.

Anyway, I should go snooze or at least prop my feet up before work.

Hrm, guess I'll be getting that blue dress. I hope they do the holiday one, too, and keep it semi-close to the original. Not really counting on that though.

They updated the site and have the covers for her Journey book and her second Classic book which has her riding habit looking pretty much the same as it did before, so it's possible they'll go with the original holiday dress.

That is seventeen different kinds of wrong right there. Talk about damning with faint praise. Do they not realize how incredibly shitty that looks, especially if Gabi is the last GotY?? Holy Christ.

I'm not sure which is worse: them knowing and not caring/thinking people wouldn't notice or them not realizing that it's really freakin' obvious. On the plus side, a random outfit that no one saw coming appeared. The downside, I think only my love of separate pieces and questionable taste is making me like it. In any case, the collection is still small, but if that could randomly appear, that means other things could still be lurking.

I hold out hope. But not a ton because it appears they'll be giving Felicity a small collection, too.
