Today is cancelled because I have a headache that will not quit. I'm about to go down some Zzzquil and let the headache meds kick in because nyargh.

Before I go, however, I celebrated Valentine's Day by finally wearing the WnW lipstick luxken27 sent me and holy cow. I found a red I actually look good in. The only downside is that it's going to take some work to perfect the application because red does not forgive when you don't get things perfect. Bonus, the stain it left made it look like I'd had a cherry slush annnnnd the gloss I put over top made things just all kinds of nifty looking. To me. I'm pretty sure no one else enjoyed the look nearly as much as I did but that's on them.

I'm surprised that last night was not filled with a bunch of people who forgot Valentine's Day and were trying to grab stuff to avoid being in the doghouse. First year that's happened when I've worked. Sigh. I prefer the stories that way. Instead all I got to hear was the guy who got engaged and he didn't even share the whole story. Don't tease, man. If you've got a story, tell the story, otherwise just keep walking.

I confirmed that the fuchsia color is the other retreated from the fall/winter mattes.

I tried one of the gel liner pens (found at CVS) and I guess it works? So you might try one of those if you can find it, that might help things stay where they're supposed to :D

Oooh, I might have to head to the CVS on my day off to see what I can see. The color didn't move around after I put it on, it's just that most of the colors I'm used to are lighter and it's not as noticible if you don't apply everything in the most precise way. Alas, screaming red that sets pretty fast is most unforgiving. She demands perfection! I shall just have to work at it to be worthy of such a color. ;)

Annnnnnnd I finally grew tired of the chipping in my Valentine's purple, so I switched to Be More Pacific last night and so many compliments already. :D Thank you, thank you, thank you. Compliments were sent your way when I said I got it from a friend. (I believe the words "clearly she had good taste" were uttered.) :D

You can never go wrong with teal nail polish. Or at least, that's what I tell myself to justify having ten billion bottles of the stuff :D
