Just as I was about to get in the car last night, my knee went one way and I went the other, which meant I spent the whole night limping around and debating whether it was worth it to ask to go home or not. Not a happy knee. And not a happy me, either. Sigh. Ultimately I stayed at work but right now I couldn't tell you why I decided to do that. On the plus side, the tall chairs at photo helped quite a bit when I got to sit down for a bit. I think getting to stretch my leg out without having any weight on it did the trick. In any case, it never got swollen and unhappy looking so that's good.
But today's plan is basically lounge in bed with my knee propped up and do nothing. Nothing!
Hrmm. Apparently at the start of the month I won a LibraryThing giveaway for an e-copy of a book I actually do want to read. But I didn't realize that until today and the email that I found from the person with the book doesn't contain a link or a file and gmail is marking it as dubious. Do I email and ask what gives or...? This is why I didn't want to ever request an e-book. I just remember my serious issues with winning the first 12 or so SVH books eons ago and how much of a pain in the ass that was.
In happier book news, Star Darlings #2 is on its way via PBS. Huzzah!
Kay, I think it's time to go prop my leg up.
