How do I say this...

Come home from work. Eat leftover lasagna for breakfast (of champions!), check email, do a cursory check of online stores for Ghoulia, go to sleep until mid afternoon when I would awaken for Halloween decorating.
By the time I got home I'd decided I would just check the MH comm to see if anyone had noticed Ghouls online and then I would act. But mostly I was going on "lasagna, nap."
What actually happened:
I checked amazon and it laughed. I checked Walmart, it laughed. I checked TRU, and they laughed. I was just about to give up when I remembered to check Target. Ghoulia! But not in stock. STILL. ghosty4's voice in my head telling me, "Dammit, woman, use the 'locate at store' function! "
Available. HOLYFUCKINGSHITYESPLEASE! I ran downstairs (literally), asked Mums if she would call (and was prepared to call my damn self because I would not be Ghoulia-less just because of a stupid phone aversion) and she did, and they kept handing her off to other people until finally someone found her. They claim she's the only one in the store. Mums has them hold her with my name on it and I actually do the "EEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeee!" and handclap like I'm four-freakin' years old.

I hurry people through their coffee and donut sticks and we head to Target where I begin to worry. What if they thought she said Lagoona or something? I tell myself that it's okay if that happened because a second Lagoona would be just fantastic. Yes. We're stuck in traffic behind someone driving slower than molasses. Bloody Sunday drivers! It's only Saturday! Except, you know, it really is Sunday.
Target. I resist the urge to run into the friggin' store because I must pretend I have some shred of dignity. LET ME PRETEND, DAMMIT.
Widget wants to look at the dollar stuff so I take him through that section while Mums rescues Ghoulia.
VICTORY.

GHOULIA. In my hands. There'd be pictures but I'm lazy and it's naptime and whatnot. I did check the toy section to see if another Ghouls had shown up. She had not. They did have Holt and I considered, seriously considered, buying him. But he set off one too many of my "clashing colors creates the ug!" alarms, so I figured that if he was the only Holt in the store and more weren't lurking in the stockroom, I should let him go to someone who would truly love him. Hopefully when I decide I want him, he'll appear again.
They did have the DotD dolls, but I didn't know if any of you were looking for them or wanting to find your own. If you'd like me to attempt to weasel my way back to Target, lemme know who I'm attempting to hunt down.
No regular Lagoona. No regular anyone else, actually. It was a sea of C/D, DotDs, and one Holt. They did have the iCoffins and when I decided Holt wasn't coming home with me and neither were C/D (yet), I seriously, seriously considered the iCoffin. It was so... shiny.
I had other fish to fry though. How to Train Your Dragon. :D
Anyway. Long story summed up: GHOULIA.
(oh, and while deboxing Ghouls, I deboxed my 2nd Draculaura. She's actually much prettier than my original Draculaura. It's weird. So first Ulla D is getting her hair taken out of the piggies and 2nd will remain in pigtails. Oddly enough, her pigtails around the rubber bands? Gelled so it retains the pigtail shape. Now you know.) Oh, and Lagoona is hands down the cutest of the bunch.
