impy: Pretty Little Liars Emily holding a coffee mug, looking super sweet. (PLL: Emily Sweet)

I'm sorry the picture sizes are all so weird. Turns out they didn't break up the release (sometimes it's nice to be right) or at least didn't break it up completely. Wellie stuff, Truly Me, and Nanea stuff not included though all of that is on the site as well. This way was easier and also pretty much all ~new~ shinies.

Gabriela's Colorful Cupcake Set // $34
image host
Item# FGT95
Gabriela throws a “decorate your own cupcake” party with all the trimmings!
Five pretend cupcakes with liners a doll can hold
Five pretend frosting tops with swirls that change color in cold water
A cake stand, cupcake stand and placemat to display them on
Two each of plates, cloth napkins, and pretend ice cream sodas
A party invitation with one of Gabriela's poems printed on the back

*grabby hands* Give it to meeeeeeee. I need this. I don't love the price on it, but I need that cake stand in my life (don't judge) and really, my dolls will feast on cupcakes! Muhahaha... No, seriously. It's something in Gabby's collection I want. Plus I wanna see her invite and poem.

Gabriela's Celebration Dress // $36
image host image host
Item# FGT94
Gabriela celebrates the arts in this fancy outfit, featuring:
A velvet dress with a crisscross neckline, silver sash, and burnout pattern on the skirt
A sparkly star headband that shows off her curls
Sparkly silver shoes with ankle straps

I do not love everything this dress chooses to be but I love teal and silver and it's something I do not hate in Gabby's collection so yes, yes please. That headband is either going to be amazing or ruin Gabby's hair. I couldn't tell you which just yet.

Maryellen's Roller Skating Accessories // $48
image host image host
Item# FGF25
Maryellen loves to go skating! This set includes:
A pair of white roller skates with bright pink pom-poms at the toes and working wheels
A jump rope with red handles she can hold
A metal baton for twirling
White socks to match
A blue carrying case with pink lining to hold her skates, plus stickers for decorating
A pretend soda bottle for when she gets thirsty

This is adorable. I have a mighty need and all that. However, at that price I'm likely to wait for a sale because I ain't made of money. But this set is super cute and cherry soda is one of my weaknesses.

Maryellen's Roller Skating Outfit // $28
image host image host
Item# FGF24
Roller skating was a popular pastime in the 1950s! Maryellen is ready for the rink in a plaid sundress with a full skirt and rickrack trim, a pink ribbon hairbow and matching pink shoes.
Skates sold separately with Maryellen's Roller Skating Accessories.

AG, I appreciate the fact that you aren't charging an insane amount for this dress because I don't know how I feel about it. On the one hand, it's kind of garish and the colors do weird things to Maryellen. On the other hand, the moment she pops on those skates I kind of love it. It's witchcraft, pure and simple. Also, I strongly suspect that this would look better on almost any other doll. I do like the style of the dress, even if rickrack is something I've never been all that enamored with. (My grandmother had a bunch of sewing things and there was a neverending sea of rickrack despite the fact that she died well before I was born. I think it spawned all by itself, honestly.)

Julie's Pet Bunny // $24
image host
Item# FJR68
Nutmeg is Julie’s pet, a chocolate-colored lop-eared bunny. She can’t take him with her when she moves in to her new apartment, but she showers him with extra love when she spends weekends with her dad. This pet set features:
A soft plush bunny with brown fur and a cute embroidered face
A green basket with a floral pillow for Nutmeg
A bunch of pretend carrots for a snack

Nutmeg swapped out her basket for a plastic... thing and a pillow made of the same material as Julie's newer holiday dress. backdoor link to old Nutmeg. Dammit self, you included the link so you'd remember to order Nutmeg1. Failure. Sigh.

Kaya's Trading Outfit // $36
image host image host
Item#FGF19
Kaya wears a decorated dress to show her skills when she trades with nearby tribes. The deerskin is fringed and features geometric designs Kaya created herself. The colorful belt is made with dyed porcupine quills that showcase Kaya's embroidery. Includes a pair of lace-up moccasins.
All animal products are pretend.

I swear this feels pretty similar to other things Kaya's had over the years but since I don't have them and I do like the look of this outfit, plus I want to encourage AG to put out stuff for Kaya, I'll be buying this at some point.

< b>Kaya's Trading Accessories $36
image host
Item#FGF20
Kaya’s Nez Perce people traded adornments and handmade items with other tribes. This set includes:
A horse toy Kaya made out of twigs to trade
A faux abalone shell
A pretend wooden flute
2 quill work plaques and 2 faux-fur wraps for her hair
A bracelet Kaya might have received from a girl in another tribe
A choker necklace made to look like quillwork
Colorful beads on lacing
A basket to carry it all

This is one of those sets that makes me wish I had a dedicated doll display case or something because a lot of this stuff is pretty nifty... but it's also very much a collection of cat intrigues. We'll see how it goes because I do like the shiny things.

Beaver // $20
Item# FGF21
Kaya sees this beaver making a lodge in a stream. It has a cute embroidered face, a plush body, and a quilted tail.

I'm not sure how I feel about the beaver. I like that he's different from other animals made by AG but I can see him veering into uncanney valley very, very easily. Also, anyone who asks, "but why didn't they call this Kaya's Beaver?" is super, super naive. Like... don't make me spell it out for you, guys.

Kit's Christmas Outfit // $36
image host image host
Item#FGF22
Kit is cheery for the holidays in this outfit, featuring:
A green-and-red plaid dress with an attached capelet, four decorative red buttons at the neckline, and a buckled belt at the waist
A matching red hairbow
White stockings
Black patent shoes

Pardon me while I shriek horrible, horrible things about that belt. Nyergh. I feel like a jackass, considering I've been hoping for a green holiday dress for awhile now and this i what I get and I kind of want to claw my eyes out. Someone, make a convincing arguement for this dress. Or join me in having your eyes reject reality.

Kit's Christmas Stocking // $20
image host
Item# FGF23
Kit knows the best gifts come from the heart. Her Aunt Millie made this sweet sock monkey and gave it cute embroidered eyes, red lips, and a bright bow. Kit can really hold her felt stocking—it has a cheery ornament graphic and her name on the white cuff.

Sock monkeys freak me out. Every so often I run across a cute one but mostly they're kind of terrifying. I like the stocking but that monkey... oh, no. Picture #2 is less terrifying.

Melody's Birthday Outfit // $32
image host image host image host
Item# FGF26
Melody celebrates her New Year’s Day birthday with her family—and of course, Mom's triple-chocolate cake! Her outfit features:
A purple rib-knit turtleneck sweater
A pleated plaid mini skirt with a button at the waistband
Two purple hair ribbons that were a gift from her friend Sharon
White patterned tights
White shoes with black laces

My internal monologue when I saw this was as follows: "Fuck yes, fuck yes, want want purple, please don't be like $40, $32? Score! Want, want nowwwwwwwwww." Seriously, this is going in the cart today. You think I joke but no. eta: Yeah, I seriously considered putting back a Nanea item to make sure I had enough to cover getting this. Purple power!

Melody's Birthday Party Accessories // $40
image host image host image host
Item# FGF27
Melody’s birthday is a smash hit with everything here:
A pretend chocolate cake decorated to look like a record, with two slices that come out
A fabric tablecloth printed with a “Happy Birthday!” graphic and blue bows at the corners
A pedestal cake platter
2 blue cups and a pitcher
2 matching plates
2 metal forks
A metal cake server

While I might not have immediately shrieked upon seeing this, I do still want. Blue glassware is one of my favorite things. Gonna have to wait for a sale of some sort for this, though. Woe.

Rebecca's Winter Jacket // $34
image host image host
Item# FGF28
Rebecca stays warm in the cold New York winter in this outfit, featuring:
A velveteen swing coat with faux-fur at the collar and cuffs
A matching velveteen hat with a satin bow
A white faux-fur muff to keep her hands warm

I see that with Samantha entering the cube, Rebecca is stepping up her fancy game once more. I don't think I would consider this a jacket but mebbe that's one of those things that has changed meaning over time. Or that I think of the wrong thing. Who knows. It's pretty but I've got a long list of interests before I'll get to this. It is, however, on the list!

Z's Rainy Day Outfit // $34
Item# FGT96
image host image host
Z can stay dry on Seattle’s rainy days with this set, featuring:
A long-sleeved tee with a graphic at one shoulder
A green vest with fleece lining and embroidered logo
Printed jersey leggings
Coral rain boots

Huh. Why did I think I would like this more? I like the shirt, am okay with the vest, could probably like the leggings with something else, and the coral wellies just don't really work with the vest for me. So picky, self. So picky.

image host
Z's Media Kit // $60
image host
Item# FGT98
Z loves to create stop-motion videos, and this set helps her get the perfect shot. Includes:
A reversible fabric backdrop screen with a frame—it has a Seattle scene on one side and a green screen on the other (perfect for video editing!)
A working studio light
A clapboard that works so Z can mark her takes
A tote bag to hold the screen and frame after the video-making is done
A pretend megaphone for the director
A booklet with tips and tricks for studio lighting
A mini award for Z

Z, you've got some spiffy stuff. I'm not sure this will ever come home due to the price tag, but it's nifty.

image host
Popcorn's Rainy Day Outfit // $28
image host
Item# FGT97
Z’s pup, Popcorn, will with this set! Includes:
A printed raincoat that fits around Popcorn' body
A cute matching rain hat
A coral and peach striped umbrella that opens and closes—with a handle Z can hold

AHA. I knew Z had an umbrella coming. They just... bundled it with the dog's outfit? Why? It's also not currently available, so that's a thing.

I didn't see anything for Josefina but it's possible I missed it. This release was/is pretty big, after all. Oh, and there was the game of dueling banjos between the eclipse and the thunderstorm. That was fun, lemme tell you.

Yes, I am both dreading and looking forward to however they decide to celebrate the 80s. I mean, I do have *some* hope left...

Coat love = a little from column A, a little from column B. I just love layering, for one, but I also love weather cold enough to warrant such pretty coats, and I wish I could enjoy said weather more often.
