Swatchathon update

We've cracked into the third bag of 50 sticks for Swatch-a-Thon. Oooh. Ahh. Yeah, I totally low-balled how many polishes I own. And yet I still find myself having this exchange in my head:

sensible me: Wow. We have a lot of polish. We probably don't need, as much as anyone ever needs polish, any more for ages. Probably shouldn't buy the ones at work either.
oooh-shiny me: So Zoya's sale ends Sept. 1 and now we've got that spreadsheet for tracking which polishes we have so clearly we need to assemble a list. Look, I already diverted funds from the Halloween stash!
sensible: ...
oooh-shiny: What part of spreadsheet are you not understanding? We're organized now! The sky's the limit! Also, sale!


I am clearly someone who makes sound financial decisions. :P


Since we're discussing swatch-a-thon, I would like to remind everyone that once upon a time Revlon did a Spiderman tie-in and it was fantastic. I...might've just swatched three of those and reminded myself that I love 3/4 of the four I've swatched recently. And when looking up photos for linkage I was reminded that Electro is one I should put over black to achieve perfection. So really, 4/4 are love.


Waiting for the plumber to call. I know as soon as I get comfy watching Designing Women, they'll show up or call and then show up. And like the cat, I prefer to disappear when people come over.

LOL, I understand ooh-shiny me, because I too have a spreadsheet database and I took now that sometimes you have to grab what you can when you can because they won't be around forever. I know I have way too many polishes, though, so no denial from that quarter for me :P

I love the Revlon Spiderman polishes and still wear mine regularly. Gwen's Crush over black is so 80s it hurts :D

YAY Designing Women!! I've having a yen to watch it myself and probably will during one of my many afternoon marathons this week :D

Oooh, I am in awe of spreadsheet goodness. I just go by memory (which, as I've said before, is a terrible way to do these things, lest you end up with every variation of a teal with a purple shift known to mankind) but someone had a mostly recently updated Zoya list and shared and now I want to fill it in. It's dangerous!


Gwen's Crush is currently duking it out with Superpowered to see which I reach for later when I paint my nails.
