impyYou ever want to roll your eyes out of your skull when you talk to someone but can't because they're your boss? At work, R was talking about how busy it'll likely be this weekend overnight (he's working while C is on vacation) because we'll be the only thing open and there's that hurricane out there (at the time it was just a storm). I nod and agree and point out that it'll be worse because it's the first storm of the season.
And he jumps all over himself to "UM ACTUALLY" and point out that it's the NINTH storm and I'm like dude, no fucking shit. It is, however, the first storm of the season that'll come near enough to us (or is likely to) to spark people buying hurricane prep stuff. I work at what is essentially a beach store so I would think that anyone with a working brain cell would have been able to follow along and realize that "first storm of the season FOR US" was obvious. Sigh.
Double sigh because for a thing that wasn't even supposed to be a hurricane, Isaias is sure working overtime on leveling up.
