I'm keeping my fingers crossed they do! I rolled the dice on him actually showing up at QVC, figuring that if he did and wound up on an extra EZ pay day, it was meant to be. So now I hope he shows up for you to get yours soooooooon.
They really need to do the stockists better. I see dozens of people on the FB group buying things from QVC/Direct when those will be at stockists'. At least change it up every now and then and get every other batch to the stockists first or something. It's worth it for me, because I get free bears from Valerie, so giving money to anyone else is kinda dumb on my part. Basically, every 10 bears, I get a free one or close to free. But by filling stockists' orders last, they're taking business from the people that have been helping them sell bears for years and that's kinda shitty.
That said, I might cave on Nick. I do like QVC for bears I'm not 100% sold on, because I'd never return a bear to Valerie. She's also sold out of him and he's been speaking to me every time someone posts a pic of him.
But Bambino and Clinton have been on Direct for ages and I really need them to get to stockists like now. My Bambino need grows every day, but I want to pick a face and support Valerie. And I guess Clinton is actually green! So that makes me more likely to actually follow through with that purchase instead of reserving a spot just to check him out and only maybe buy.
I want to say Mischief Maker will be in the next batch, so at least there's that. But I also really want Logan. Ugh. So sick of being behind everyone else! At least I got Dilbert paid for and he's on his way. Then I've got to get the layaway taken care of and more newbies will be home.
I'd managed to make myself forget that Bambino had been taunting me from Direct for awhile. It is a little messed up to not alternate things so that the stockists get first dibs every so often. Cycle through, mix things up! Give the little guy a win.
Clinton is green? Huh. I just thought he was a dirty tan. Something to investigate, even though for me I think he's one I'll just admire from afar.
