In which I cannot tell a bear no

So I ordered BFG when she popped up on QVC because dammit, I needed a win in 2020. She arrived and, well, looked a little... off? Not so off that you'd have no problem saying "RETURN!" but not quite what I imagined my BFG to look like. So when the one I liked from BAMS was still available by the time my name popped up on the list, I debated and decided I'd pay for that one and then see which I liked better in person. I was only able to do this because it was right after my stimulus check appeared as pending my account and right after my last payday at work.

Sooooooooo... BFG2 showed up super fast and um... help?




They appear to have bonded. BFG2 is threatening to beat me up if I sent #1 back. And 1 looks happier with 2. But I really shouldn't keep both. However 1 is on easy pay and I've obviously already fully paid 2...

Both shed far more than any of my other bears which is disconcerting on its own, but when I thought it was just 1, I was much more willing to send 1 back. What to do, what to do. I have never had a huge problem sending back the two AG dolls I needed to swap out but stuffed animals are impossible. I go full on Island of Misfit toys and want to love them all. She's/He's a bit of an expensive bear to keep multiples of if you didn't plan on it, but Easy Pay does make it simpler. If you cuddle them a lot, maybe keep both to keep one nice? Both Rum Baba and Black Forest live on my bed and neither is worse for the wear, but maybe that could still work as justification.

Don't worry about the shedding. Certain ones just do that, especially with a thick fur like tyber.

I'm glad the shedding is just how they are. Huzzah!

They do cuddle very nicely (1 is particularly good at stopping freakouts just because he's a bit heftier) and I could keep one on the bed and one on the hope chest, though I don't think I've had any issues with the ones sleeping on my bed. Poor Bambino keeps trying to escape so maybe I'll send him to the hope chest, too.
