I have apparently coasted as far as I can on comic osmosis and run into the end of the world and that... that was... what the fuck was that?

I think I saw it best summed up as: great for setting up the next phase of Marvel movies, terrible as a season finale. Worse if they really did that thinking they wouldn't get a second season at the time because that was not an ending.

Nothing like following characters for five episodes only to have them literally sit and listen as the new big bad, that you've literally never met before and literally never introduces themselves properly, plays a game of info-dumping and then said characters have about thirty seconds to figure out if big bad is to be believed... and then cliffhanger EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING.
