impyDid I mention work reinstated mandatory mask wearing by employees last week? Well, they did. And I need to buy more masks because I'm nearly out and I never did get the hang of the cloth ones. I tried but never found one that fit properly (so thanks for the free but ultimately useless masks, work?) and it's been hit or miss on the disposable ones. Every time I find a brand/type that doesn't fucking stab me in the eye, work stops getting it in. Grr.
I'm cautiously optimistic that the books I sent are finally well and truly on their way to their destination as they haven't shown up in my mailbox yet this week. My CB order should be in today if I'm lucky, but I also know that if I wait up, they'll be super late in the day or not at all, so I'm going to keep to my plan, I think, of getting some sleep soon.
Watched the first episode of What If...? and since it was the Captain Carter ep, I was pretty pleased.
My brother is moving in with is girlfriend, which is probably going to be a bit awkward since she lives with her dad out in bumfuck, but I gather his roommate has finally gone completely off the deep-end. While I take ALL my brother's stories with a giant saltlick, I figure even if she wasn't out on the front porch smoking crack or didn't use his razor to shave her unmentionables, it's still probably time to run screaming. Alas, this means his junk is in the hall and other than being kind of amazed he's got a huge ass print (which is not the right word as this feels like something sent to a store or venue to advertise for a good long while, not some flimsy bit of paper) of the cover to The Lost Christmas Eve by Trans Siberian Orchestra, it's kind of in the way.
My slow collection of the Rainbow High dolls continues, as I think original Sunny is set to be delivered today or tomorrow.
Oh, and the Little Golden Book for American Girl birthdays is adorable! ♥

The elastic is a bit annoying but they cover my fat face so I'm happy with them. I like the ones my mom made the best, that tie around your head, because they are adjustable. I'm happy to share the pattern with you if you want!
