Stuff, I guess

I keep thinking I'll wait to post until I have something interesting to blather on about and then it just...never happens. Is it because there's nothing interesting? I mean, possibly, but it's also possible I'm at one of those points where the hamster in my head has hit the mute button and attempts at communication are at surface levels. Or, y'know, I've just been very tired after work and not really felt like pushing past that for various reasons.

So, let's go with last week's highlights, shall we?
- Got a new coworker. I'm cautiously optimistic.
- Got flirted with by someone who knew the quickest way to my heart was to confirm my knowledge that I was meant to be a redhead. They came back in the next night, too. So that was nice. It's been awhile since someone flirted and that didn't hit my abort mission response.
- Made Cass absolutely cackle with laughter during my rant on a Rolling Stone list (it sucks and anyone who thinks Live's breakup was messier than fucking FleetwoodfuckingMac is on more drugs than the entire decade of the 70's)
- Got the cats new litterboxes. Adora's has walls high enough to possibly keep her litter in. It's a miracle!
- Currently making cookies.
- Widget's birthday went well. He's now 22. Insert cryptkeeper gif -here-

Not sure where to put my first CB of the year preorder came in (Cave via CBD) as I'm still waiting on London (are we waiting on people to chose? What's the deal here?//eta: of course as soon as I post this, bam. I'm next up on the list.) and also next paycheck is gonna basically go POOF right away. I was good and skipped the new HT release for now, which I may blather about in a bit because I'm trying to figure out my thoughts on it.

Mother's Day chicken enchiladas and her breakfast went well (huzzah!) and I finished The Last of Us which I probably should have watched as it came out OR broke it up a bit more than I did because I think it's one of the few new shows not suited to binging.

Been having a bit of a good streak with my reading and signed up for the library's summer reading program because it's open to adults, too. ALSO there's a bookfair coming up! WOO.

But work kicks my butt more days than not and it doesn't help that apparently the DM like, doubled our truck to the point that I would bet good money they're STILL putting away last Tuesday's truck RIGHT NOW.

Debating what to do now that the cookies have been made. Do I swatch another round of polish? Do I finish A Far Wilder Magic? Not gonna work on my embroidery because it's too dark in here.

HOOOOOOOOOOW is Widget 22? How is that possible? Have we really known each other that long? I swear he was only 8 a couple of years ago, LOL.
