A tale of the Fallen, and realms far away.

It amused me, so I duck flying objects thrown by Heidi. *ducks*

Dude. I'm seriously cold. Usually I'm just a wee bit nippy, but I'm a couple of steps away from teeth chattering. Perhaps taking a shower and then coming to the only room in the house with no heat was a silly idea?

Nah.


It's skatequeen Panda-Tish! Which reminds me. I figured Miss Tish out. I think. For those who want a story I think I ripped off of numerous authors, please.

^- That is Panda-Tish. Tishy there is quiet and shy and while I love her, I was pretty much clueless as to why she wasn't as camera-hoggish as the other two ... or any random member of the Fleet, or hell, my window wants to be photographed more than Tishy.

Until I found... Tish's diary! Wait, no. Until I used my brain and came up with the only logical explanation.

She's a Princess from another dimension who is on the run because there's hit out on her life.

Yes. Seriously. Hear me out.

Panda-Tish is a Princess from another realm, if only because I like the word realm and I don't ever get to use it. Princess. She came from a fairly happy family and her realm was kind of nice. Very pretty as these things tend to be. She lived her happy little Princess life and wasn't all that surprised when she was betrothed to a Prince her family had been eying for years. Seems his family had been eying her too. Again, fairly standard snooze and miss nothing royal politics. The Prince was nice enough, and Panda-Tish was hoping to have fallen in love with someone, but as she's slightly cynical, she figured maybe there was no such thing as love the way she imagined it to be. So she didn't mind being engaged to The Prince. She liked the guy. He wasn't cruel to anyone and he had a good heart. He actually wanted to help people and since she did too, she figured hey. What have I got to lose?

Thing is, while all this is going on, a star falls out of the sky. Thing is, the star has turned into a person, which is sort of why she fell out of the sky. You can't just be a person and be a star up there in the heavens. That's not how the gig works.

So she crashes to the not-quite-earth and is kind of dazed and confused. But not half as confused as Panda-Tish who was sitting out by the lake, reading and having a nice little picnic for one when this thing comes falling out of the sky and crashes right in front of her.

This thing which is rather girl like. And very pretty, if slightly unconscious but remarkably unscathed otherwise.

So Tishy wraps the fallen star up in her blanket and checks to make sure her cuts are minor. And waits for the star to wake up. For some reason she doesn't try to lug someone her own size back to her castle, or even run off to find a servant or anyone to help her. She waits. And waits. And watches this mysterious star-girl sleep.

Finally stargirl wakes up. They introduce themselves. Stargirl is actually named Gwen, and she casually mentions she was a star. Surprising, but not overly so as in various other realms it's been known to happen. Panda-Tish invited Gwen home because it's obvious Gwen has nowhere to go. She never asks why Gwen joined the ranks of the Fallen because she figures Gwen will tell her in her own time. Or not at all.

If you guessed that Tishy falls in love with Gwen, give yourself a cookie. She falls bighead over tiny feet for her, and the feeling is mutual. But since she's kind of been promised to someone else [namely the Nameless Prince] she feels kind of bad about it. But since Nameless is such a great guy, she figures maybe he'll be okay with not marrying her [since she knows he's not in love with her] and he'll have no trouble finding the right princess. So she tells him.

And he's fine with it. Thing is, he asks that until he figures out exactly what to say to his parents, they continue to pretend to still be heading towards an eventual marriage. Tishy says okay, if he really thinks the idea is best. He agrees it's not exactly normal, but he has his reasons.

So Gwen and Tishy are happy, and they even hang out with Nameless who loves both of them without being in love with either one of them. Problem is that not even far away realms are without their trashy tabloids and gossip hounds.

Someone else finds out about Gwen and Tish, and word travels back to the Nameless Family. Things naturally get sticky. As nice as Nameless Prince is, his family is exceptionally cruel and more than a little morally challenged. They just happen to hide it very well. Besides, politics [royal or otherwise] is an excellent cloaking device for cruelty. If word gets out that the reason Panda-Tish and their baby boy haven't been seen together and haven broken up is due to a Fallen Star, all hell could break loose. You see, a Fallen Star is just that. Fallen. Which means they had to have done something to be kicked out of the heavens, right? [follow the twisty logic] For Panda Tish to have chosen someone like that over their baby boy, it would reflect horribly on the horrible family.

Clearly there's only one way to fix this. Panda-Tish must be killed. If she dies and they can't tie it back to the Horrible Nameless family, then it's a tragedy and they can work with that. So assassins are hired and the hunt begins.

If you're wondering why not just take out Gwen, then I applaud you for your bloodthirsty question. Gwen is still a star, and as such is protected by magic. Killing her would be infinitely more difficult and also, I think there's some curse on killing the Fallen.

As each day went by, the attempts became worse and came closer to actually killing Tishy. Nameless Prince figures out what's going on and warns her that as long as she's in this realm or any of the nearby ones, she's in danger. So he helps create a magical dimension hopper thingie to help her escape. [no, he can't call his family off. He tried and failed. Miserably.] Still, Tishy doesn't want to go. There's Gwen, and her family, and the fact that she had so many ideas for how to help her realm.

And then she's nearly blinded and her eyesight takes a nosedive after a particularly creative attack that I'm unable to detail. She flees when it becomes obvious that whoever is on her tail this time is willing to chance the Curse and take Gwen out too.

So she ran through various dimensions, looking for some place she'd be safe. Along the way she and Princi crossed paths enough for each to realize something was wrong [not normal] with the other. And now she lives here and shies away from the camera when possible.

Whoever is after her is still out there.

Now that I think about it, I suspect Nameless has a sister and that she's probably the one chasing Panda-Tish all over creation. Nameless does not know this, by the way.

If you're pondering which Pullips I think are going to possibly be recruited for such a tale, I think Gwen is Fourrure [why else would Tishy come with a poster sized picture {for her it's poster size} of Fourrure?]. She seems just pretty and somehow innocent enough to be a Fallen Star. The only Namu I like right now is Serpent, so he could be Nameless. Or Nameless could also just forever be faceless as I don't think I'd need him for my tale, unless I recreated the above in pictures. Which I might.

If Fourry isn't Gwen, then Oren is. If Fourry is, Oren might be the sister. I'm just not sure yet.



For those still pondering, "Do I click the cut? Do I? What if there are pictures? I don't care about that. What if it's really a dolly rant? I doubly don't care about that!" Fear not. It's a story outline. So if that works, click. If not, sucks to be you, no? :p

I'm off to finish reading The Cold One. Again.
