You ever have a song that makes you want to cry, but in a happy-ish sort of way? Yeah.
1) Total amount of music files on your computer:
_____ I'm not sure, but it's like... ten, max. :p
2) The last CD you bought was:
_____ I think Tegan and Sara's So Jealous was the last one actually rung up on my mini binge. ;)
3) What is the song you last listened to before reading this message?
_____ "Holiday" - Green Day. Yay for radio?
4) Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you:
Order is no there. ;)
_____ Ribbons Undone - Tori Amos
It makes me sniffly like a little girl. It's also good for creativity, so long as I don't pair it with Knickers. It makes me think of being a wee little thing, and possibly one day having a wee widdle one of my own. [and then I snap out of the haze and remember I want no wee ones.]
_____ Accoustic #3 - Goo Goo Dolls
If you get bored, look up the lyrics. I'm sure I've posted them before. It makes me sad and will make me cry, but it's one of my favorite songs for when I feel the need to walk around with my black mood on my sleeve.
_____ Waking Up Beside You - Stabbing Westward
*curls up* The title itself should tell you the joy contained within.
_____ Papercup - Heather Nova
I have to replace this CD. I have to, because this song is fantabulous. One of the best things to come of Dawson's Creek was the playing of this song.
_____ To The Moon and Back - Savage Garden
I miss SG. I miss the way they could paint a mental picture and set it to music that would make your heart break, even if you never could quite figure out what horrible thing had led to such a pretty song. Also, once upon a time, people were handing out songs that reminded people of their friends, and I got paired with this one. Often. :p
5) What 3 people are you going to pass this baton to and why?
Um, the first three people to read this who haven't done it. You! I see you trying to sneak off without admitting you read this! You will obey!
Mail check yielded very little... except my federal tax refund! Y'know what's sad? I can now pay for my Cosmics. There might be two bucks left over. How sad is that?
who wants to buy my dollies a corset?
