Annnnyway. I'm off to finish Queen of Wands, read or nap... and then pic fic. Because I don't work tonight! :D

And yesterday I couldn't help but get to thinking again about the weirdness of visiting one of the friends in their loveshack. It's less weird to visit Ari on some levels, but still. It's like they both grew up without me, and I'm stuck in the land of "lalala, ooooh, toys!" Which they still do, only their current toys of choice tend to be shiny video games. :p I don't know. We don't really do anything together anymore. I know a lot of that is me being lazy and then having to work most nights.

*shrug* Hard to put into words because I'm not sure I've figured it out despite trying to for months.

These things happen, but I think I'll be a little less passive in my life. Not too much, no sense in stressing out over stupid things, but I'd like a little order and a little chaos to live together with me for awhile.

But I'm still not going to K's wedding this afternoon. It's weird to think she's getting married. It's weird to think of any of my friends being married. But weirdest still for me to fathom why she's marrying someone who told her, flat out, numerous times, he didn't love her. Implied heavily that he was with her because no one else would have him. It makes me sad. I knew it was possible, because like me, she's got issues with thinking anyone could possibly want them, but I'd like to think, I hope anyway, that I would never marry someone just to avoid being alone, or to avoid having to tell my friends that they were right about some ass.

So I hope I'm wrong and he loves her and she loves him and it's a whole big love fest, and that she's happy more often than not.

... but my spidey sense doesn't seem to think this is going to happen.
