close your eyes, take your last breath
Nov. 2nd, 2003 01:39 amIn the you probably already know this, there's a pic and a little fluff article on Rose in the November In Style pages 369/370. Fluffy magazine. But filled with more pictures than I could ask for. Not that I own this issue but I had to occupy myself somehow while mom picked up her prescriptions, yes?
In other TV related stories, 1-800-Missing seems to be getting better. Whee for balancing the leads. Wheee! Plus a realistic fall off a cliff? How rare is that? Indeed. Also watched some older episodes of L&O: SVU. Really shouldn't just land on that by accident. You should be prepared for the mind numbing "wtf?" moments that always happen in a good episode. Like the first one I caught most of. Guy rapes 3 women in a fairly short period of time, but no such fun thing as DNA testing or some such joy. Almost 5 years later they match these three crimes up, realize the same guy did the crime, and set out to find him. Our three victims range in personality from little miss legality who sued people right and left for not catching the guy. Her statute of limitations runs out first and she is pissed off. Then we have mousy one who is unable to go out anymore and seems very freaked out by life in general. And then there's little miss I found God and everyone was soooo supportive and I've moved on.
Anywho, time ticks on, shit hits the fan, and they're reaaally running out of time. They go back to Little Miss Hunkydory and she confesses she knows who the rapist is. But will she tell anyone so he can be brought to justice? Nooooooooo. So the other two women confront her and Meek snaps. But still nothing.
Eventually they catch the guy only to find out he's, well, really not likely to attack anyone anytime soon, short of a miracle. [not dead] So all the emotional shtuff and the having to piss of a bunch of religious fanatics as well as punish a victim for not forking over the name? Kinda in vain. Vexing.
*yawns* Pickles can make any day better.
