I'm frying and ex-gay-boyfriends.
Nov. 4th, 2003 02:24 amI still think Alexis Bledel's haircut looks wonky, but you know, I just don't have a thing for short hair. So that might be it. She gives a decent interview though, if you ignore all the "y'know"s that people tend to OD on. [I myself am never, like, y'know, guilty of that. Ever, babe. Ever.] {she was on the late, late show tonight.}
Ari called. Her grandfather is still alive [yay], but she's going back up this Saturday. With Elliott, I think. Elliott, for all those playing at home, is Cassandra's [this would be Ari's sister] ex-gay-boyfriend. He's not formerly gay, but it sounds funnier that way. Elliott is spiffy cool, or was. I haven't seen him in, wow, ages. Funny guy though. When he was last here I think we were introduced as "this is my other best friend" [for me] and "my ex-gay-boyfriend" for him. So it got to the point where we basically introduced each other to anyone else we ran into. I think, given the crickets chirping, that this is only amusing to me. :p
Hrmm. Last night's Charmed? Decent. Not great. I don't love it, I will never worship it, but I do want Holly's earrings. The dangly shiny ones.
Speaking of Holly, according to she who is always right [glas], the Holly mention is some tiny lil' blurb in TV Guide. I will still be attempting to buy my copy should the stores ever get off their asses and get it on the shelves. Because I, my dears, am an addict. Not to the point where I say all her performances are perfect, but close enough.
What else? Oh yes. The WB's gallery for SS? Sucked. It had some decent shots, but mostly craptastic. Without the tastic! part. Phooey. [not Phoebe] The Zap2it article on next week's episode of Charmed was amusing without it being intentional, I think. Namely the fact that preggers Holly? She's doing more than old Pheeble Alyssa. Or the "that says a lot about the writers/Kern" comment. I soooo took that one the wrong, yet happier, way. :p
Back to non Charmed news. My puppy is an idiot. She's beautiful, but she's dumber than the dumbest star in Hollywood. She escaped this afternoon, scaled the fence right in front of me, and when I called to her with the chew toy that squeaks, she came. Good, smart stuff, right? Yeah. Then an SVU drives up on the gravel road and she runs off. In front of the car. Idiot!
