figure it all out, too much information

Saw Mona Lisa Smile yesterday. For all the people who bitched about it, I liked it. Of course ever since The Trouble With Angels I will watch even a craptacular movie about boarding school/girls onlycollege. Which might explain some of the movie bombs in my past... Anyway.

Good movie. The biggest problem, for me, was that it seemed to be lacking something to hold the whole thing together plotwise. So at times it seemed like they just strung along a bunch of scenes and called it a movie. Which I guess, technically is what you do. Only I usually don't notice the stringing along because I'm busy involved in said movie because there's something holding them together. That said, that leads into the other problem. I wanted it to be longer. I need to know more. More! Sigh. So, yeah. I consider it to be a good movie and I'm glad I watched it and not just for Tori. :D

...shite. There are, hold on, lemme count, 5 things at the library waiting for me. I was just there yesterday. Bloody hell, Janelle, do your effing job, woman! As of 4:40am, I am 13th in line for Incubus Dreams [new Laurell K. Hamilton book]. Hopefully this won't mean it'll take six hundred years to get to me. I'm not known for my patience.

Now. To finish my book [Killer Pancake], watch some Angelina Ballerina, and get some sleep. Oh, and smores. Yummy!

that song just proves that sometimes a chorus or even a single line can make a song. Normally this song gives me a freakin' headache, but I hear that line and all is good.

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring... Yeah. Rain, again. Go figure, eh? :p Currently sending someone a song, so I can't sign off and reboot so I can go picture whoring on this, my last day off of freedom. Soon though.

Thought of making a Charmed news community, only I'm too lazy to see if there's [an active] one right now. If there is, there's no point in making one. If not, well, maybe. If you know of one, lemme know.

heaven ain't close in a place like this

It ain't fancy, but I don't really do fancy for desktops. I like to be able to find my icons, dammit. :p That, btw, would be my new desktop. For the last six months, probably more, it's been a picture of one of our cats. But I saw this in the Entertainment Weekly I bought the other night and had to use it. Made an icon too, but it's not as spiffy yet.

Ho hum. Behold! Anyone know when the new season of Joan of Arcadia starts? If EW mentioned it, I didn't see it.
