(no subject)

I am so, so, sooooo fucking tired. I should be in bed, but I thought maybe Ryan would be on IRC. There is no Ryan. Of course not. I'm lucky, but not that lucky. Woe.

It was Arianne's birthday and she seemed to like her gifts. :) I got her the Cinderella DVD [not the super-delux package, but that's because I'm mostly broke this check, k? not because I do not love her so.], one of those odd chinese takeout looking boxes, but it's in green and pretty and if I'd been smart, I would have bought one myself, filled it with little chocolates... and that's about it. But I wrapped it in shiny tissue paper and shoved it nicely in a shiny gift bag. I realized that sometime in the last ten years or so, I began to really like gift bags and wrapping paper and making it look semi nice. I wonder when exactly that happened.

The rest of the day was spent either reading [finished Mars volumes 1 & 2], two young adult novels, or sleeping. Actually, I also watched the end of Gilmore Girls S2 and remembered exactly why I disliked Jess so much and that it had very little to do with him as a character for awhile. On the other hand, I'd also never seen one of the episodes, so yay me. :D

Dinner was at the Texas Roadhouse which proudly proclaims "The Texas Roadhouse Rules!!!" at the top of their reciepts. It's... odd. But nummy burger, so no real complaints. :)

Did i mention I was tired? Also got a package from T.S. And I died happy right then. Then I opened the envelope and died happy again. Booooooooooooks!

Now to go stalk the mailbox and wait for Greggia and Lor the Second to arrive.
