auntie maaaaaar

only, I uh, slept the day away yesterday and woke up only when widget arrived at 5. So now I'm all kinds of tired again. ;_; maybe four or more hours of L&O: SVU wasn't a hot idea, but... widget! and svu episodes I hadn't seen!
there was only one giant problem with my day. my cat threw up on my teddy bear. Teddy! Teddy's older than some of you, damn it. He can't be exposed to washing machines or cat puke. It's just not done. Luckily mothers know just how to rescue childhood bestfriends.
I'm tired but for some stupid reason I don't want to sleep. I want to do something, but it's nearly 2am on a Sunday night/morning, and everyone I know is asleep. Or doing naughty things I don't want to know about. I finished all of my library books and mom is wisely keeping the new patricia cornwell book with her. So now I can't even curl up on the couch with my blankets, eating smores, and finding out whether the kay books are better left unread these days, or if redemption is at all possible.
I do think any author who takes a chance on talking/thinking crabs does deserve one last shot though. But that's just me and the amusement I derive from Tangierfucking Island and books about it.

There is much joy in having a widget type shriek, "auntie maaaaar!" over and over upon seeing you and then run to hug you so tight it almost hurts. So much joy.
