Oct. 2nd, 2006 06:46 pmSo Missy Cass descended and upgraded my phone to ... some other phone. Which has no how to guide and I have no idiots guide to helpful hints. I suspect very strongly that I'm currently stuck with the songs they put on the phone, since I'm running really old stuff. :P This makes me sad considering the only point in having this phone is for the musical goodness. On the other hand, how bad can it be if it comes with baker baker? Well. I guess I can always call upon those with more up to date computers if the need for more than one song [as well as Queen's Another One Bites the Dust] becomes too strong. I guess.
Huh. We've got various interesting songs, so I suppose I'll just bug them next week or something.
I should point out that while I'm not adverse to technology [obviously], I'm incredibly bad with change and it took me a full ten minutes to figure out how the hell to send a text message on this stupid thing. Oi. That said, I've been awake for 13 hours and I'm not at my best after around hour 10. That's why I sleep right up until the last possible second before work. Sure, I'm groggy for about half an hour into my shift, but then I'm awake and good to go until I'm off the clock.
So... the boy offered to snag his girlfriend's laptop to help me out with the phone. That's very nice of him. I'm unsettled by this, and I feel bad about that, considering I don't think the boy and I hate one another as a general rule. Just for months on end until we stumble across a cease fire that tends to last all too briefly. Anyway, it might just be that I'm feeling guilty because I'm not particularly fond of her.
This morning I caught a bit of John Doe on Sci Fi and I couldn't help but remember how much I loved that damned show. I think I sort of cried when it was axed. Now I stick to a strict no Fox policy. Except for House. But that's different as I was sticking to the policy, but someone pretty much served the crack up on a lovely plate and made me partake. If you think just handing me the first season on DVD wasn't akin to holding a gun to my head and making me, you don't know ari. Anyway, John Doe was must see TV for me, as well as the Cass. Even when we were pretty much at one another's throat, we'd chill out and watch JD.
This is the oddest assortment of songs... o_O
